"Clay!" Ryan yelled grabbing Clay and lifting him above his head. Clay giggled and pulled some of RYANS curly fringe.
"You read yet?" I asked and Clay reached his hands out for me. I grabbed him and rested him on my hip smiling.
"Yeah one minute." Ryan said buttoning his coat. "Ok I'm ready."
We where heading into town to get Clay a Christmas present. Of corse we where walking because Ryans crappy car broke down two weeks ago.

Clay has his hands linked with Ryan and I's as we swung him in between us. Clay giggled each time with did this and I smiled at Ryan.
"Thank you daddy!" Clay yelled as we swung him again.
"Mhm," I said still holding Clays hand I kissed Ryans cheek.

When we got into town Ryan held Clay on top of his shoulders.
"Cover his eyes while I get the present." I whispered in Ryan's ear. Ryan nodded taking Clay off his shoulders and covered his eyes. I grabbed a tiny ukulele off the shelve.
"Perfect," Ryan whispered and I smiled running to the check out and paying $45.

"It's only 4 and the sun is setting." Ryan said grabbing my hand and not taking his eyes off Clay as he ran up the dirt road meaning we're exiting the town.
"Yeah it sucks, but it's romantic." I said yanking on is hand. Ryan was still looking at Clay as he ran.
"Hold right there Clay!" I yelled grabbing Ryans shoulders and kissing his lips. I smiled and kissed him harder and accidentally hitting his back with the ukulele.
"Ouch!" Ryan said pulling away from me and I laughed.
"Oops I did it again."
