Matteo's POV

I find it completely unnecessary to go out to a fancy diner to "celebrate". Like what exactly are we celebrating?

But here I am, having to leave my three siblings all alone, well maybe they aren't alone, they have Mike's parents but they would much rather be with me, playing video games in our room or something.

"Stef can you come over here for a second?" I say to my younger brother whose name is Stefano but we call Stef who is currently 15 and a twin. He's amazing, he's talented and is probably gonna end up being the newer generation Einstein or some crap. His twin sister, Stefania or Fifi is also pretty talented. She's an artist. I try my best with them, I've always had to be strong for them especially my youngest brother Marco who's 7. He constantly asks about dada or mama because he may be young but he knows Mike's parents aren't ours, although they are their guardians.

"Yeah, what is it?" Stef says to me with his earbuds in his ear and a football in his hands. He's also pretty athletic too, I have high hopes for him.

"I have this dinner thing with some...people so I'm probably gonna be back late today okay?"

"Sure, No problem" He says back to me while he falls onto the bed.

"If you need anything, call, okay?"

"By the looks of you right now, it seems like you're the one who's gonna need some help." He says laughing as he throws the ball towards me.

I catch it and throw it back to him with an annoyed sigh "I'm not really social, if you hadn't noticed kid"

"So why are you going?" He says as he catches the ball back easily. I'm just going soft on him... he won't be able to catch my real tosses if I put my back into it.

"Because... it's for Hazel... and you know" I say awkwardly to him.

He smiles... more like smirks while nodding his head "I know. You've been talking about her quite a lot. It only makes sense that you want to go on a date with her"

I stare at my brother wide eyed "First of all, it's not a date, it's a dinner with everyone and second I'm only going because I kind of have to so...."

"Suuure" he says getting up from the bed and walking out the room to the kitchen I suppose. Steph only goes to two rooms in this house; the room (which has a bathroom) and the kitchen. You will hardly find him anywhere else.

"Is Fifi back yet?" I say. Fif is Stefania's nickname but only I call her that, most people call her Stefie. She goes to art classes every now and then.

"Nope"

"Okay. I guess I have to leave now... Bye" I say tiredly to Stef which attains a laugh from him telling me to have fun. I'm not even sure those words exist in my life.

I give my youngest brother; Marco a hug and promise to bring him ice cream from the restaurant and I make my way to the hotel.

I hop in my car and drive for about five minutes and finally reach the hotel. As I'm about to enter the doors, I see Kat just standing beside the door leaning against the wall.

"Kat? What are you waiting for?" I say making my way to her. As soon as she sees me she gives me a wave and winks at me.

Oh God...

"Come on, let's go inside... together" She says linking our arms together and walking into the hotel.

Before I have a chance to react, we get in, my eyes immediately settle on the most beautiful girl in the room,, Hazel.
