We've finally landed in Beaufort and Char had to say bye to Mike. After their first interaction, Char actually managed to make a conversation with him without drooling and turning into a freaking tomato. All the while they were talking I kept thinking in my mind....... Gosh, their kids would be Greek god material.

What? It's true.

Anyway, they exchanged numbers and Mike's staying in Beaufort for sometime before he has to leave again so hopefully Char'll run into him.

We're currently sitting in the airport waiting for that spinny thing to bring out our luggage. We've been here for about 30 minutes waiting for our bags and I'm starting to get really tired plus I don't know where Char wondered off to. My eyes feel so droopy and heavy, apparently the "short" nap I had in the plane wasn't enough for my body. I'm always like this at airports, you see families happy meeting up and boyfriends waiting for their girlfriend or the other way around and then you see me, taking up three seats, using my jacket as a blankie, eyes looking like they haven't heard of sleep ever and overall appearance looking like the Grinch who stole Christmas.

Finally I let my eyes get the best of me as I feel them drooping down all the way and take a nap there on the three airport seats while I was waiting for my bags to appear out of the thingy. Whatever it's called.

Sometime later

I slowly wake up to the sound of a man screaming ma'am over and over and over....

"What, what? I'm up" I say still slightly unaware of my surroundings as I jump out of my seat. I try to rub the sleep out of my eyes but fail miserably. As I'm about to fall back to peace and sleep on my "amazing" substitute of a bed, I feel a body on the two of my seats and bump into me. This wakes me up and I realize it's just Char and we're still at the airport.

"Why is it so dark" I say to the kind airport staff as I try to wake Char up.

I look around me and really notice how dark it is and wonder if Char and I fell asleep in the airport for that long.

"Wait a minute, what time is it?" I say to the airport staff who told me his name was Bob as Char wakes up and immediately notices how dark it is and gives me a confused look.

"Uhm, it's currently 6 pm ma'am, it appears as though you've been sleeping for quite some time" he says laughing but when I glare at him I think he gets the message that this ain't funny boy!!

6 PM... QUITE SOME TIME?? If it's 6 pm now, it means we've been sleeping for about 5 hours!!! And we were supposed to meet the owner of our rented house (more like mansion) 4 hours ago. Plus she seemed really strict and punctual and she has the right to refund our money and take the beautiful peaceful mansion away from us.

Gosh, I need to call her. I pick up my phone and I'm about to dial her number when I notice something's missing.

Our bags!! "Hey hey hey, th-the spinny thingy didn't bring my bags yet" I say to the airport staff who's currently back at his desk.

"What flight were you on miss?"

I go ahead and give him all that information.

"Well, I'm sorry ma'am but your luggage is probably lost if hasn't come out yet because now we're loading out the luggage for a different flight."

"Also, there hasn't been any report of missing luggage around the airport"

"Then what the hell are we supposed to do, all our clothes are in there. Our money" I say a bit angry and frustrated and tired and emotional. "This was supposed to be a peaceful, relaxing holiday and I haven't even been concious in this place more than an hour and I probably already have no where to sleep.. Just great" I say sadly slumping back in my seat and my face in both my palms.
