Chapter 60

    Two night later I was sitting on a big rock sense we been around as I was just looking at the knew look the sky had in a green and slight yellow look to it. I don't know why I was feeling so empty but it was as if I needed comfort of a loved one. ' But Raphael it dead and I accepted it... or haven't i?'
     I grabbed the sai and looked at it as I then closed my eyes and stood up on that rock looking out there as if searching. ' Am I salvaging or am I really still looking for Raphael...'
     " Mona?" I heard as i then turned to see a mutant there as he was a iguana or somthing that was always trying to be more then friends with me. " Hey Raptilicus."
    He came and sat next to me while looking ahead as I stood there looking down at him. " Thinking if him again?"
    " what are you talking about?" I asked as I sat down and looked at him while he smiled a little. " About your dead boyfriend."
    I grunted and leaned back as I used one hand to keep myself up as I looked up again. " So what if I am... it's not going to change anything of him alive or dead... know leave me alone for once..."
     Raptilicus just nod his head and stood up to leave as I sat there now feeling more depressed as i then got up and jumped off the rock and ran to my motorcycle. I got on it and started down the road as I went fast passing things as if not caring.
     As I could not hold it any more from driving far I stopped the motorcycle to get off but instently went to my knees and hands. I gripped the dirt hard in my hands as I then yelled out crying as I wished I was with Raphael and not here alone.
     I wanted to die as I could only think of our times together the good and the bad.
    My hands shaked as I opened my eyes full of tears and looked up to the green sky and yelled out while still crying. " Why didn't i go with you! Why am I here struggling to survive!"
    I lifted my hands up and punch the ground so hard that I made a slight hole in the ground as I blinked looking at my hand that was know stuck.
    I tried to get it out but then I realized that my hand had room to move my fingers. " What the..."
    I tried again to pull it out as I then felt my wrist hurting alot like my skin was ripping but then I got free as well as heard cracking noise. " Uh oh..."
    The ground Broke as I then yelled falling down and soon landed to the ground as I rolled to my back. ".... ow..."
     As I laied there not caring with pain on my back I kept my eyes on the sky as tears still fell down my face. " I'm I being punished... punished for disobeying my father?"
    I was waiting for a answer when I then closed my eyes and laied there for a few minutes when then I started to hear somthing as I opened my eyes and looked over to my right. I saw what looked like a tunnel so I got up and started to walk in as it felt a little tight but I was able to get thru.
     While walking I soon came to the end of the tunnle as I then saw what looked like mircats as they walked around. That was until they saw me and looked like they started to fear.
    So I came out and put my hands up. " Hey its okay I'm friendly... what are you mutants doing down here?"
     None of them spoke until one actully came out if the group. She looked weak and frail as if she might pass out or somthing but what caught my attention was that she was pregnant with her stomach looking like she might give birth any day know. " Who are you?"
    " I'm Mona. Mona Lisa. I was up top the surface and fell in a hole... I'm guessing you mircats did the tunnles?" I asked as I kept close eye on this pregnant mircat. " Yes we built these tunnels to help keep out villagers safe from danger. "
     I know what they meant as I looked to the others as it then got my attention that all the mircats where females. There looked like there was not even one sight of a male here.
    So I looked at the girl as she spoke some more. " I am Miranda the leader of the wild mircat clan and I am also greatful to you Mona Lisa and to Thank you for not harming us."
     " your welcome... I guess but... where are the male mircats? Are they hunting or somthing?" Miranda looked down as she looked sad. " Yes... a long time ago... our men went to bring us food but... they must have gotten caught in a trap or got killed from the bad salvagers..."
    I growled low as I said the name of the spices that I knew that could be responsible do it. " Badgers..."
    But Miranda came to me and smiled as I was surprised. " we might not have much but please Mona come sit with us and eat you look starving. "
    It was true that I was hungry sense I have nearly eaten from any food made for me sense my apittite seemed to be gone sense this world turned very bad. Miranda tried to get me to sit but I declined. " no Thank you... besides you all look like you need the food more then me... I mean I can see some of you pregnant... and you Miranda looks like your about to have your baby first..."
    She laughed as if it was not a big deal in witch made me worried more about her for some odd reason. " That is true. But we are very well eaten our shares in our meals as to there should be enough for a friendly traveler like yourself to have. "
