I'm Courtney, 12/June, I'm The Wind Maker, i lived my entire life alone no parents, no friends but then i met Matt who invited me to a Team where we can defend the world against the bad guys, we have already collected 4 ancient books, 2 left: mist, water
CHAPTER 3 : THE LIGHT
Nia is Searching for water "I can save her"
Nia grabs a big water bottle and uses her ability to freeze the attacked spot "Matt, does you optic lens identify blood type" Matt says: "I need a sample of the blood" Nia uses her dager and cuts her skin using a tube she picks some blood, she gives it to Matt "Optic,Scan blood" Matt says.
The blood type is O-, Matt is also O-." we can't do it hear i will have to freeze her until we get back to the apartment" Nia said. Nia runs with Courtney to the apartment, Matt stays and says: " you go, i have something to finish with mist" he looks at James, he holds a shuriken and aim it at James head "kill me........you monster" Matt starts raging and tells Mist to leave, "I'm sorry James but you've done enough"..... James is dead, Matt picks up the swords and throws the business card James gave him.
Meanwhile....
"Am i dead?" Courtney said,"where am i?........Matt. is he okay?" everything is white she moves around until she saw Matt she blinks to find him changed to the Lightning rage Mode "i'll kill you Courtney" she closes her eyes ,".............Courtney............Courtney...........Courtney" she opens her eyes to find her self laying on her bed while Matt and Nia trying to wake her up.
"I am so sorry Courtney" Matt said. She replied : "It's okay, it wasn't your fault, James made you rage.....Nia, can you leave us alone for a minute?". Nia nods her head and leaves the room.
"why did he call you a murderer? did you do something bad?" Courtney asked Matt and he replied: "9 years ago a guy with a gun attacked people so i tried to help them so i took the gun and aimed it at him, i was 11 years old so i was so scared, he tried to attacked me so i shot, he stood up so i shot him again, he stood again so i shot him in the head......since then i was called a murder and a monster for how brutally the scene was, since then i had no friend" Courtney is shocked, she stands up and hugs him " I'm here.....alive because of you and Nia. you saved those people who were attacked by him" she said.
One month later....
"Can i open the crate now?" Adam asked Nia and she agrees
Adam opened the crate with his symbol, A huge hammer, Gray clothes, the name's Mist, "really, i have same name?!" Adam said in disappointment.
"By the way Nia, how did you know the way to save her?" Adam asked, she replied: "i am a doctor you know? i worked at suplin-gate Hospital, i was fired because i missed up with three patients, which cause them to die, i was going to jail but when i got hit by the lightning bolt they thought i was died, so i ran here....afraid"
Matt entered the living room where everyone is except for Courtney who's still recovering,"i found the location of the mist fallen dungeon, it 90KM north west" He said, Nia says: "ok, Adam, Kazi you're with me, Matt stay here and watch over Courtney, ok?" Matt nods his head and the others gear up
after Nia,Adam and Kazi left, Matt started working on his new invention, AR Connect
Five hours later, Matt Prepares the drug that Nia told him to give Courtney, he enters her room, to find someone ,holding a syringe, and doing an exaggerate cross sign with his other hand. Matt attacks him, Matt holds a Pen from Courtney's drawer they start fighting Courtney woke up, So the masked man tries to escape. Matt grabs his cape to reveal his identity. the man is wearin a mask of a skull with red eyes had a short black hair. "James?" Matt said, the masked man stabbed Matt with the syringe on his left chest and escaped.
Matt was laying on the ground " he got me!" Courtney says: "where did he inject you?" Matt replies " I don't know". Courtney opens his jacket to see the injection point but instead she saw a metal circle on his left part of his chest near his heart blocking the liquid. "what is that?" she asks while getting the liquid from the syringe of his outer skin, Matt looks at his chest and say: "that's my.......computer that's connected to my optic and my watch.......i thought i was done for it"
Meanwhile at the Mist dungeon...
Nia and the others are fighting ukarisians who are trying to steal Mist's Book of knowledge
"Everyone step away!" Adam shouted, he uses mist to chock all of them,"go get the book i'll hold them off" Nia and Kazi nod their head and ran inside the dungeon, Kazi stops and Grabs Nia "Don't move" he picks up his bow and fires a spot arrow. 3 ukraisian and 1 strange power
Nia hold her dagers, they see all 3 ukraisians but they can't seem to see the strange, they attack all ukraisians. after fighting them they were tired, suddenly Kazi felt a cut on his face,so he fired an arrow against a wall, to find that he hit someone who was invisible, he looked the same as the masked man who attacked Matt and Courtney in the apartment, the masked man ripped the arrow from his leg, light came out of the hole,"Who are you" Kazi said, " I am the light user" the masked man said and then he faded away, the same as what James did at the base, saying " we will meet someday and that day will be your last...."
Nia and Kazi are shocked! "could it be?" Nia said.
they got the Book of knowledge and escaped the dungeon before it collapsed.
they arrived to the apartment, when the opened the door they saw Matt shaking. "What's wrong?" Adam asked, Matt says: "He is alive.............James is still alive"
Nia says: "How did you know?" Matt replied: "He came to finish Courtney with a poisonous syringe, he was wearing a skull mask with red eyes" Nia is surprised "(so it's true)" she said to herself.
Suddenly the floor started shaking, they enter Courtney's room to see her floating on her bed, Adam tries to grab her, when he did all of them were catapulted to the wall. " What's happening" Kazi said, Matt replied: "She is air user this happens when she is having a nightmare"
The floor stopped shaking, she woke up she looked at Matt and hallucinated a version of him dead " Matt, you are going to die by that masked man".
