It's 6am, and Rebecca Piper is hitting the snooze button when she knows she should get up for work. She works at the local café, and as it's the school holidays she's working 4 times a week.

Rebecca finally drags herself out of her bed at 6:15, she gets showered and dressed, quickly grabs a slice of toast and leaves the house at 7.

At the blueberry café, morning shifts are long and quiet. The odd person coming in for a full English breakfast, maybe some business men getting a quick coffee, and of course there is always Mrs Evans getting her milky coffee and toast with strawberry jam at 8:15- on the dot, every day except Sunday (she goes to church).

Rebecca walks to work, it's 7:15 by the time she gets to the blueberry café. Rebecca opens up, quite a big responsibility for a 15 year old. After 10 minutes a young man walks in and asks for a black tea. Rebecca is a pro tea maker after working in the café for 2 months, so quickly makes a perfect tea!

After 20 minutes the man pays and leaves a tip of £2.00. Two women enter as the man leaves, the women look in their 30's, one is a brunette and one has long, ginger hair. They both ask for a full English, and the brunette says to Rebecca;

"Oh, sweetie. You have lovely golden blonde hair, that green bow really helps the colour stand out!"

Rebecca being an average teenager finds accepting compliments an awkward process, what is she meant to say in return? Does she give a compliment back to the women? Or should she just say thankyou?

"Um.. Thankyou...I really like your eyebrows."

As soon as she said it Rebecca plays over what she just said in her head: 'I really like your eyebrows! Good compliment Becca, way to go. Scare of all the customers with your speech why don't you.'

The women isn't affected by the weird comment, and with a big smile on her face she thanks Rebecca and goes to sit opposite the other lady.
