Hot chocolates and tissues

Chapter 11- back to school.

At 6.00am Rebecca's alarm buzzes her to get out of bed. She hits snooze and lays in the warm bed for another 10 minutes.

She finally drags herself out of her bed and gets in the shower.

Connor is already showered, dressed and had breakfast. And at 6:30 he takes Fly for a walk down the road.

It's 7am when he gets back home and gives Fly his breakfast.

Rebecca is still rushing around, she needs to leave the house at 7:15 to catch the bus.

She quickly brushes her teeth, grabs her phone and throws her school bag over her shoulder.

As she walks down to the bus stop she checks the time:

7:12am

When she reaches the bus stop, the bus pulls up and opens it's doors.

She climbs in and sits near the middle of the bus. Her stop is one of the first stops, so the bus is really quiet!

The bus rattles down the drive to the school at 7:45, Rebecca jumps off and walks through the main door to the entrance hall. People everywhere! Shouting on there friends and messing around. She finds Lilly near their form room and fills her in on what happened with Connor. They quickly change the subject when Luke appears in the door way.

"Hey guys!" He says as he strolls over towards where they are standing in the corridor.

"Hi!" The two girls say in sync.

They start to catch up and ask each other what they done over the half term.

"Well do I not get a hug then?" Luke says looking at the girls.

He hugs Lilly first, and then hugs Rebecca. This time the hug is tighter, and longer. Rebecca is the one to pull away, wondering why on earth he hugged her for so long?

5 minutes later Holly, Hannah and Dan walk to where they are standing.

They greet each other and hugs are given, they catch up even though it's only been a week!

The teachers start to arrive and so they all head in different directions to their form room. Rebecca is in form with Luke and Dan.

They walk into the classroom and sit down, Luke sits next to Rebecca and Dan says;

"I'll let you two sit next to each other!" He grins and winks. Luke goes bright red, and Rebecca is even more confused.
