#Callie's P.O.V#
Crap. Here we go...
"Callie, what do you mean by you're used to it? What's been going on?" She asks me, stopping, which causes Lizzie and Joel to stop and look back.
'Nothing. I'm good. Let's go to the mall!'
"Callie, no! Has something been happening at school?" She asks.
I shake my head.
"Callie?" She takes a step closer.
I shake my head, yet again.
"What. Have. They. Been. Doing?" She gets closer.
'Nothing bad, just teasing.'
"Fine. I'll believe you." She says, opening her arms for a hug.
I hug her, but she squeezes my back, hitting the huge bruise that I have from Will.
I flinch.
"Callie? Did I squeeze too hard?" She asks.
"Wait, Callie, what's that mark on your back?" Lizzie walks up behind me.
My shirt must've come up when Amelia hugged me, because when I left the house, I made sure it was covered.
'Nothing, I fell on my back in gym, I'm fine.'
"Callie, that doesn't look like a falling bruise... what happened?" Amelia asks, looking at the bruise.
'NOTHING. I'M FINE. CAN WE JUST GO TO THE MALL NOW?!'
"Fine. We're talking about this later, though." Amelia says, grabbing my hand as we start walking toward the entrance.
"Where to first?" Lizzie asks.
I look at Amelia.
"How about a jewelry store?" Amelia points to one.
"Sure." Joel says. We walk toward the small jewelry shop, and assortment of necklaces, rings, and earrings are out in the open.
'What are we doing here?'
"You'll see." Amelia walks off to the counter, immediately talking to the guy who was standing there.
"Yeah, hold on." The guy says, right before walking off behind some doors.
He soon comes back, holding two small boxes. He hands them to Amelia and she walks over to us, after thanking him.
"Alright, this could be more romantic, but... wait, follow me." She says, grabbing my hand and leading me out of the shop. I'm assuming she's already paid for whatever's in the boxes.
We go to the centre of the mall, where there's a nice little indoor garden, with cute benches around the area.
"Alright, Callie. I really have no clue what to say, other than I love you, and don't want to lose you. So, I got us some promise rings." She pulls a ring put of one box. "Callie, I promise I will never stop loving you, even when I'm away for that time. I'll think about you everyday, and this ring is a commitment to that." She finishes.
I smile, kissing her immediately. I pull away, taking the ring from her and sliding it on my finger. She takes one out of another box and slides it on her own finger.
"Do you like it?" She asks as I look at the ring.
'Of course, it's amazing!'
"I'm glad you like it." She says, hugging me. "We better go back to Lizzie and Joel."
"We're right here." Joel comes out of behind a bush.
