Chapter 1

It was just a normal Thursday.Me and my best friend Kristie were walking to school just like everyday.

"I haven't studied shit!",I said as I was playing with my phone.

"Really? I didn't see that coming" Kristie was obviously making fun of me. I wasn't a really good student mostly because I wasn't intrested in any of this.I mean,I was okay but not excellent or anything like that.My passion was drawing and that's how I spent most of my time.

While crossing the road just few feet away from our school,I felt a hand on my shoulder.It was David,a classmate of mine.We weren't really close but for a strange reason he always made me laugh and feel happy.And I guess I liked that in a way.

"Goodmorning,little freak." I said, with a smile on my face towards David.

"Well goodmorning to you too sexy thing!" David said,mocking my horrible morning look.

"May I assume that you haven't studied absolutely anything for today's test?" David added while bringing the biology book he was holding near my face. He was a pretty good student,only interested in math,sience and subjects like these but he could deal with all of them.

"Well,you assumed correctly mr. Smart Ass"

This whole time Kristie was talking on the phone with her boyfriend Anthony and smiling to me every time I turned to look at her.

I'm quite shy when it comes to the whole boy thing so everytime she sees me getting close to a boy she gets more excited than I am and always makes a huge deal out of it.

First and Second period passed very quickly and unfortunately it was time for that stupid exam.

While Kristie was walking me to my classroom I saw David and Taylor,a good friend of mine,getting into our classroom.

"Daviiiiid wait up" ,I shouted while running to my classroom living Kristie behind.

"Pleaseee,pleasee sit in front of me to help me with the exam" I begged.

"What am I winning from this?" David asked while sitting infront of me.

"Anything,just help me for now!" I put my hands around his neck trying to look tough.

"Ok,but You owe me,remember"He slammed my hands.

"Whatever",I said and started filling my information on my paper.

When the exam ended I felt really proud of my paper even though 95% of the answers were told to me by David.

And I forgot to mention that David forced me to watch a horror-sience fiction movie with him on Saturday night.

Friday morning passed really quickly at school and now I was at Kristie's house watching Glee on her computer.I haven't told her about me and the David thing yet but I will cause I need her advise.

"So what do you want to do now?" Kristie asked jumping out of her bed."I'll tell my mom to make us something to eat" She added while walking to the living room.

''I want to talk to you about something'' I said as she sat back on her bed next to me.

''Sure! What happened?" She seemed a little worried,maybe because I sounded way too serious

''It's not that big of a deal,allthough I made it seem like one.Anyway...remember yesterday when I ran towards David while we were walking to my classroom?'' I saw a small smile forming in Kristie's mouth.

''I like how this is going,continue" She said playfully.

"Well,I asked him to help me in our biology exam and in return he asked me to go over to his house on Saturday night to watch a weird movie"

''Sounds like a date to me!" Kristie said and hugged me,"Your first date actually" she added.

My first date huh? It didn't seem like a date to me but thinking of it like one made me feel weird.Good weird,I guess.

"I don't think it's a date.I mean I don't know if he sees me this way" Oh,I was feeling so unsure about this situation.

"Well,I don't know David very well,but I've seen you two together a couple times and he seems into you.And you seem to like that too.Anyway what do you have to lose from that?If I'm wrong,which I highly doubt,you will gain a good friend." She seemed pretty sure about the things she said and I couldn't blame her because they were true.

"KRISTIE,The snacks are ready" Her mom  shouted from the kitchen.

"Back in a minute" Keistie said leaving the room.

I guess she was right about everything.I didn't have to worry about it.And in the end I made a big deal about it,when I shouldn't.I was just nervous about it which is logical.I'll just wait and see what happens.

"Bon appétit!" Kristie said while leaving a huge plate with snacks on the bed.

"Thank you for everything Kristie!For the food of course and for your advice.It made me feel better" I said and started eating everything on the plate.

"Anything for you Stef,That's what best friends are for!" She was smiling brightly to me.

A couple hours later when her mom was gone for a work party or something we decided to make cupcakes.

"So what movie are you watching tommorow with David?" Kristie asked,placing all the ingredients on the kitchen top.

"A horror-sience fiction shit." I made a grumpy-funny face.

"And I guess you know the reason behind that?" Kristie said winking at me.

"Uhm,making me throw up?"I said sarcastically.I liked horror movies but not that sience fiction things most boys loved.

"Of course not.You'll get scared and he will hugg you.You'll be in his arms for the rest of the movie and if you are a good girl you may get a kiss.'' She kissed my chick making fun of her own words.

"Cool story,bro" I said punching her arm softly.

We spent the rest of our evening making the cupcakes and decorating them with anything eatable we could find.I have to admit they turned out better than I thought.Later on,I asked my mom to spend the night there and after eating most of the cupcakes,talking and watching movies we both fell asleep.

Hey guys, this is the first story/fiction I have ever written! I hope you like it. I thought of starting with something simple like this one and if it turns out well I have some more ideas in mind!Oh,I have to say that it takes sometime until the boys appear on the story but I think it's worth waiting.
