Tristian's point of view

"Ok class now get into groups of four."

Ughhhh I mentally groaned. I hated getting into groups. It's always awkward but it's a good thing that most of us are strangers.

"Want to be in a group?" I asked the girl behind me.

"Sure." she said smiling. She seems shy.

Ok two more people.

"Hey you guys want to be in our group?" I asked these two people who were near us.

"Yeah"

"Ok"

The assignment was pretty easy I think the only bad part about group work was deciding who presented.

"So are you from here?" I asked my partner named Norma.

"No I'm from Waco and you?"

"That's cool and El Paso." I replied.

"My cousin lives there." My other partner named Yvette said."It's so dry over there just desert and mountains."

"Yeah I like here, it was a green overload." I said jokingly. "are you from here?"

"Yup all my life." She said.

"Same here" the guy Alex said.

"That's cool, I like it here. It's a new change of scenery".

After the class finished the assignment ,we all had to present. I ended up presenting, my group was to shy, no shock there. Besides it'll help me in life. I used to be shy believe it or not. Towards the end of the day, I just wanted to relax and get to know the college. And hopefully once I had a friend with a car, the town. I did some wandering around the campus just to know where everything was. In the library, I found the loneliest spot to do future studying and I found out where the writing lab was. I also found a outside theater facing a field of grass, in the back of the campus.

It was fun wandering around. Then while going around the right side of the building I stubbled on a small garden with a walkway that led to a bench surrounded by flowers under arch. It was nice, almost like a secret garden. Me and my older sister loved that movie, The Secret Garden. From there I made my way back to the dorms.

Entering the guys side was like chaos. It was almost like I was living in a frat house itself. Everyone was loud, watching the game, trash on the floor and in the hallway, crazy.

"Sup" I heard a friendly familiar voice.

I turned it was the Ashley's boyfriend carrying a bowl of chips. Who was extremely hot I might add wearing his sweats. His jaw line was sharp he was like a model.

"Hey nothin much." I said trying to match his tone. Trying to be cool and not seem star struck.

"Tristian right? I didn't get your name earlier." He explained.

"Yeah" I agreed shaking his hand. His strong grip made me weak in my knees. That or his hazel eyes.

"I'm Steven. You settling in ok? Its always different being an out of towner?" He asked.

"Oh yeah, I'm good and for sure. Yeah lots green." I said jokingly realizing what it sounded like. " I'm from the desert." I explained.

"Ha funny" he said gestering   the bowl towards me offering me some.

"Thanks" I said getting a couple of Doritos till Landon snatched the bowl away.

"Interception!" Landon shouted hopping to the only available seat on the couch.

I rolled my eyes

"Sorry bout that." Steven said.

"It's cool" I told Steven plopping Doritos in my mouth "later." I said before turning away.

Landon point of view

Finally done with homework. I said swiping the work off my bed so I can stretch. A couple pops came out. Yeah that felt good. I made my way to the restroom it was a room that had a wall in the middle that divided it into two sides. One side had toilets and urinals and the other with showers. After I did my business I heard someone singing in the shower. He probably thought he was alone. From the sounds of the song, it might of been country.

"And it goes like ooh, what I wouldn't do

To write my name on your heart, get you wrapped in my arms baby all around you.

And it goes like hey, yeah I'm blown away,

Yea it starts with a smile and it ends with an all night long slow kiss,

It goes like this"

The voice sounded familiar but I didn't recognize who it could be. I mean we have so many guys living here. It was a sweet voice and I kind of wanted to know the face to it. Then I accidentally knocked to the trash can next to the sink, making a sound. Crap! I didn't want to be caught easy dropping so I ran out as fast as I could.

Tristians point of view

"Finally Friday! I'm so glad"

"Yeah me too" Robert said enthusiastically

" See you later"

"Later" I said as he left our room. Then I looked at the time. Better get going. As I walked to my class, I turned on my iPod and played some EDM(electronic dance music), This actually reminded me the other day when I sang in the shower. I thought I was alone and didn't here anyone come in. I was singing to a song by Thomas Rhett. Yeah, I like listening to country and EDM, I know kind of opposites, but I love them.
