After what he told me last night I still could not believe that Carlos is dead. Joaquin toldd me that his mother, their mother wants to talk to me about Carlos. I wanted to say no but I also wanted to know what they know. If they know about me. I wanted to know how Carlos died etc. i wanted to know more about him. I have hated him for a long time yet it wasn't his fault why Nathalie grew up without him. Or was it his fault. Why did Joaquin not tell me about Carlos? Why did he marry me?

"Mom, where's Dada?"

"I don't know. Why?"

"We're going to Baguio today. We're visiting Lola and Auntie Carla and also Dada's Lolo and Lola. I'm excited. Are you not!"

"Not really. I have loads of work to do in Manila."

"So you're not coming with us?"

"I did not say I'm not coming with you. I just said marami akong trabaho sa Manila."

"My first time to go to Baguio Mom. "

"Okay."

"Where's Dada kasi? "

"Maybe he went out to jog or something"

"Haynaku Mommy you should know, you're the wife. Haynaku."

"Tumigil ka nga diyan Nathalie huh!"

"Hahahaha Mommy talaga. Abuelo! You're here pa?"

"Yes. I'm going to Baguio with you don't you know that?"

"Really?"

"Yes."

"Yipeeee! Grampa, Dada said their house is somewhere outside the city proper. They have a horses there in their place. He said they live in a log cabin. Have you been there Grandpa?"

"Hmmm not yet. I have not been there. Os that where he's taking us?"

"Yes. But Dada said they also have a house at the city proper but he said he likes staying at the log cabin if he wants to take a rest. He asked me where I want to go and I told him at the log cabin."

"Okay, then are you ready to go visit your grandparents?"

"Yes Grandpa. Kaso si Mom she said she has alot of work here in Manila."

"Don't worry about that everything has been taken cared of. Besides, it's your parents' honeymoon so they can rest there for a while."

"And me too."

"Yes, and you too beautiful girl."

"Abuelo, huwag niyo masyadong paasahin ang bata at nabubuwisit ako sa Joaquin na yan. Alam niyo ba kung sino talaga siya!"

"Si Joaquin Escudero, lawyer at apo ng namayaoa kong kaibigan."

"Haynaku sana nga wala kang nalalaman dito abuelo."

"Nasan na ba si Joaquin?"

"Diko alam sa lala...."

"I'm here. I just got went to the office to get some paper to sign. Kirk is coming with us at uswi din siya bukas to bring the papers to Manila. Yung iba, ipadala na lang sa Baguio para hindi madelay ang mga trabaho."

"Hey, JC, okay lang yan relax. I'm sure everyhing will be okay."

"Dada, you promised I'll ride your horse."

"No sweetheart, Thunder is a big stallion, you'll ride Pinky. It's actually a gift to you from my grandfather, your great grandfather."

"Ohhh geeez, I love that Dada, thank you."

Etong mga to kung mag usap sila parang wala ako dito. Pati tong batang to, puro Dada ng Dada na lang. at itong lalaking to hindi talaga ako pinapansin. So what kung nagsasabi ka ng totoo na kakambal mo si Carlos? Pareho lang kayo. No longer important to me. Nakakainis. Bakit pankasi kailangan kong sumama sa kanila eh. Grrrr!!!!
