EDITED APRIL 28 2015 WITH THE HELP OF _SarcasticAngel_ THANKS SO MUCH

I was always told to hate that family and him, but with his sleek blonde hair and stormy grey eyes I had always seen him not as a threat, but as something stunning. I still remember my father's word to me on the first day I left for Hogwarts.

FLASHBACK

"So that's little Scorpius" dad said, "Make sure you beat him in every test, Rosie. Thank God you inherited your mother's brains." I giggled softly.

But mums swift comeback made everyone one laugh and not notice me glancing at little "Scorpius" as my dad called him, and him glancing back at me.
(TIME LAPSE TO THE SORTING)
I waited within the mass of students anxiously as I waited to be sorted into one of the four houses in Hogwarts. I spent most of the sorting gazing around the hall at all the students, staff, and of course the outstanding ceiling. When my cousin Albus was called, I immediately snapped out of my trance and listened intently. The hat was placed on his head and after thirty seconds of anticipation it loudly shouted

"GRYFFINDOR"

and cheers erupted from our cousins who had also been placed in Gryffindor including James, Fred, Roxanne, Dominique, Louis, and Molly. I also clapped loudly but quickly stopped when I heard my name called and walked up slowly my legs feeling like lead.

"AH yet another Weasley" the sorting hat exclaimed for only me to hear.

"Well I definitely don't think Slytherin you can never keep quiet and are not very cunning. Although you are kind, I doubt Hufflepuff would suit you," Good , I thought.

Down to the two houses I've always hoped for. Even though I trusted the sorting hats decision I wanted it to be Gryffindor. In those seconds of hesitation, the word escaped the sorting hats mouth that changed everything.

"RAVENCLAW"

I gulped. Happy, but not overjoyed. What will dad think? Will he hate me for not being in Gryffindor? Will my other cousins accept it? I soon calmed down and sat next to my oldest cousin (besides teddy) Victoire, who cheered loudly and congratulated me. Having her in Ravenclaw seemed to make everything better.
Lysander, who was one of Luna's twins and a year ahead of me, was also in Ravenclaw. Seeing the familiar faces calmed me down until his name was called.

"Malfoy, Scorpius."

I watched as he made his way up to the sorting stool. It was at least a minute before the sorting hat called out the one word that would change my world.

"RAVENCLAW"

That was the moment when my heart truly skipped a beat. I shamelessly stared along with the rest of the students in the great hall as a dumbfounded Scorpius made his way to the Ravenclaw table and sat down wordlessly.

Third year

It was almost Christmas and I had been walking down around the edge of the forbidden forest when someone emerged from the shadows, someone I had not wanted to see.

"Hey Weasley how's it going" he asked, casually leaning against a tree.

"Just fine, which you know perfectly well as we have almost every single class together and are in the same house, thus sharing a common room."I replied quite sharply.

"Whoa, just trying to start a conversation didn't mean to offend you. "He said taken aback. I sighed and tried to calm myself down.

"Sorry I didn't mean to snap, I was just caught in my thought and you surprised me coming out like that." I said quite softer. Now angling my eyes down.

" Its fine, I often come for walks down here to clear my mind and get lost in my thoughts," he said now barely whispering.

Right before he turned and ran into the woods, he leaned over and kissed my cheek swiftly, not a lingering one but still a kiss.

That moment, that kiss, threw everything I had ever been told and believed out the window. A Malfoy had just kissed a Weasley.
