 Disclaimer: I own no characters or settings besides Gwyn and Aidan also I know earlier in the story I said that Lorcan and Lysander were older but I have changed my mind and made them in Rose’s year. Sorry for the confusion. And again thanks so much for over 100 reads it made my day! I literally started crying when I found out that’s how happy I was!! Now for the chapter.                                                                                 ~Rose POV~

Later in the week on the night of the ball I had let Lilly into the Ravenclaw common room and into my dorm to help me get ready for the ball, and for me to help her get ready. “Come on rose sit still and let me focus on getting that crazy hair of yours done.” She practically demands. “Ok ok but do you have to straighten it, it will take forever.” “Yes I do if not I won’t be able to do the hairstyle I want to do and then you won’t look pretty and the whole thing will be ruined.” “Well someone’s a bit dramatic isn’t she?!” “I know very well you would wear your hair in a pony tail if you could but that’s not happening when I’m around.” “I knooow, well it’s not my fault my hair is so flippen curly! Why’d you have to get the nice straight hair we are cousins I want yoouur hair.” “Ok pouty face spin around in the chair for me please I’m almost done with this hair of yours.” She works for another few minutes on the style and finally completes it. “Ok done now go get into your dress and I’ll change into mine.” I changed into my periwinkle dress and walked back to wait for Lilly to do my makeup. When she entered she was wearing a pale green high low dress with a blue sequined sweetheart neckline describing her perfectly within a dress. “Ok makeup time.” She begins lightly adding a sparkly grey eye shadow that could be seen through the mask I had chosen. She then applied light rose lip-gloss. And let me do her makeup. Don’t get me wrong here I hate makeup and fancy stuff but our dear cousin Victoire made sure all of us girls knew how to apply it. When I was done she had eye shadow with a light blue base and a darker outline around her eyes making her green eyes pop. “Ok I’m done” I announce and I pick up my mask which was blue and sequined tying around the back of my head. Lilly’s mask was a pale green with pink studs around the edges hers also tying around her head. We walk down to the ball together and see Lorcan standing waiting for Lilly. “Hi Lils you ready to go?” “Yea of course see you later Rosie!” I look around just as I feel a pair of hands cover my mask and I hear his voice. “Well well if it isn’t my lovely girlfriend whom it is a pleasure to see.” Scorpius says jokingly with and old fashioned British accent. “Why yes it is, now uncover my eyes so I can see my dashing boyfriend.” I reply just as fancy and old sounding. He uncovers my eyes and I turn around to see him standing in a blue undershirt and black suit over the blue shirt. His hair was slicked back and he had a fancy black mask on. His grey eyes were sparkling under the mask. I hoped no one besides Al and James recognized him; there were plenty of boys that could look like him without the mask on. “Ha-ha” he chuckled. “Let’s go to the ball now I can’t wait to scare al out of his pants.” Scorp jokes and we advance into the great hall. “I spot al dancing with someone who looked oddly familiar and seemed like they knew each other very well. As they spotted me they both shared worried glances and walked away from us. “Scorpius, do you happen to know who Al asked to the dance?” “He said something about a girl who was the daughter of Oliver Wood. I don’t know her but aren’t you really good friends with her?” “Yes I am and I am mad that neither of them told me they were going together. I am going to go have a word with my cousin.” I tell Scorpius and I walk quickly away. I soon spot Al over by the punch bowl holding hands with Gwyn. “Um excuse me Al may I please talk to you over here by ourselves.” “Yes rose I’ll be right there” he groans probably knowing what this is about. “How dare you and Gwyn go to the ball together and not even tell me!!” “Well we-““You could have at least let me know you are two of my best mates and you don’t even tell me you’re dating, what kind of friends are you?” I don’t even give him a chance to explain I just turn on my heel and walk back to Scorpius who is staring in shock at the two of us arguing. “ Rose come on lets go dance I’m sure Al will explain later when he knows you have had time to except it.” After I have calmed down a bit and Scorpius sees that I won’t kill Al or Gwyn when I see them he stands up and holds his hand out cheesily asking if he can have this dance. I of course reply yes. He leads me out into the middle of the hall and we start dancing. We dance for a while before I see someone walk up behind Scorp from the corner of my eye. I quickly spin away from him and into the person who has now untied Scorps mask. I see Scorp quickly pull the mask up from what I see the person who took it off didn’t even see who it was but one person did and that one person did not look happy. That person was Fred Weasley II. Before dealing with the raging Fred I turn to see his twin Roxanne was the one who had untied the mask. “Roxanne how could you do this!” I scream. By now everyone is looking at us. “It was Fred’s idea I’m sorry we are all interested in who this guy is and I didn’t even find out.” “Well your brother seems to have!” I yell I turn away from Roxanne and walk towards Fred dragging him out of the hall and pulling him towards the library so I can explain everything. “Fred before you freak out I have to explain this to you please just let me explain.” “Okay Rosie you have five minutes before I go out and tell everyone you’re dating Malfoy.” “Weeell” I launch into the explanation about how Scorp is amazing and how al completely trusts him and how I am telling everyone soon. After I’m done explaining he looks a lot calmer and turns to me. “Rosie I trust you to make the right decisions and I understand. We should get back there I’m sure Scorpius is waiting for you.” “Thank you Freddie” I squeal hugging him and rush back to the ball.  I see Scorp sitting on bench he jumps up and rushes over to me. “So did t=you explain?” “Yes I did Fred is fine now and knows everything he completely accepts it!” “Okay hopefully everyone else will when we tell them soon.” “Yeah I hope they do too. Well Scorpius Malfoy our last dance was interrupted so may I have this dance with you.” “Of course Rose Weasley.” After that it was a normal dance no surprises and no interruptions. Scorpius and I danced late into the night and finally left getting ready to leave in two days for Christmas break.
