Dinner

~Roses POV~

After a few minutes I saw Scorpius walking down the hallway from DADA. It looked as if he had gotten out of class to come meet me for dinner as no one else was out of class yet. He realized I was grinning ecstatically and he seemed to brighten up at the sight of me not being stressed or unhappy. "Hey what are you so happy about sleeping beauty?" he asks jokingly as he reaches the chair I'm sitting in and I stand up. "Well I can't tell you yet but I will as soon as the people that I'm happy for tells everyone one else what they are happy about!" I say sure he is confused at this point. "I'm only allowed to tell Lily" I add so he knows its family business. "Oh well ill probably find out this very interesting news soon" He replies letting the heavy coating of sarcasm drip of the word very. "Hey it is very important and interesting to our family." I say putting emphasis on the word very just as he had but sarcasm on his. "At this point only the adults and I know the interesting news. It makes me feel so special!" I say. "We all know that you're very special Rosie." He says this in a very jokingly tone, causing me to reach over and playfully shove him lightly. "Ow!" he says pretending to stumble and fall laying on the floor a few steps in front of me rubbing his arm. "Okay drama queen get up I'm hungry." I say walking towards where he fell. As I walk pass where he is still lying on the ground he grabs my ankle and yanks me down on top of him. As I tried to sit up he tightened his grip on my chest pulling me back towards him. "Struggling will only make me hold you here longer." He says in response to me trying to get up. "No really Scorp you didn't think I hadn't already figured that out." I say my voice layered thick with sarcasm. "Come on Scorp were going to be trampled by everyone when they rush out for dinner!" I say knowing this is the only way I will get any positive response out of him. "I for one would certainly not like to be run over by the bunch of seventh years about to burst out of that classroom so I will let you up after one thing." He says after that he flipped me over so I faced him and placed a quick peck on my lips. He jumped up after this causing me to hit the floor in astonishment. "Scorpius Malfoy you get five seconds to get to the great hall before I come and kill you!" I say in a menacing voice. He turned towards me and stuck his tongue out at me in a very childlike way. Then turned and sprinted towards the Great Hall with me right on his heels. Right as we collapsed onto the Ravenclaw table's bench he bell rang and students rushed into the hall. Today being a weekend students were allowed to sit wherever they pleased so my friends and a few cousins came and sat with us. One of these people being Lily who along with her brothers was a Gryffindor. Right when Lily sits down I tell her to come with me as I have to come tell her something. She groans jokingly "But I just sat down" she says talking in a very babyish voice. "C'mon it's a secret to the rest of the cousins still and I have special permission to tell you only!" I say knowing at the word secret she would jump right up and follow me. I couldn't have been more right. "Ooh I wanna know the secret!"She says jumping up. "Well let's go then." We walk out of the great hall into the cool October night. "It's beautiful out tonight" I say knowing it will aggravate her as I am making her wait longer to learn the "secret". "Oh c'mon Rose stop it just tell me already." "Okay" I reply drawing the word out making her wait even longer. "Ok I will tell you now. Victoire is pregnant we have a new cousin on the way!" I tell her excitedly! "Omg" she squealed! "AHHHHHHHH IM SO HAPPY" She practically screamed that. "You can't tell anyone else Vic and Ted are writing everyone since I wrote telling them I read the letter. They had given me special permission to tell you." I inform her so she doesn't go around telling everyone in the school. "Okay I can do that... I'm just sooooo happy. I hope it's a girl Vic would love that." She squeals overcome with excitement. "Let's go back I'm hungry." "Okay c'mon ahhhh. Okay I'm calm now. After dinner had ended I headed with Scorp back to the common room and pulled out the notes he brought me and began to copy them. The one thing that sucked s that we weren't allowed to copy notes by magic so teachers didn't worry about students cheating. At about 10:30 Scorp and I were the only ones left in the common room. I had just finished my notes and was standing up when Scorp grabbed me from behind, turned me around and kisses me passionately. When he pulled away he said goodnight and turned leaving me standing there in a state of shock.
