Percy's POV

"Do it! We believe in you!" The fish and sharks and dolphins around me cried. "Just ask her!"

"But what if she says no?" I countered.

"Lookee here, Perseus. How long have you known (Y/N)?" A shark asked.

"Uhh.. 4 years." I replied.

"And how long have you been dating her?" He questioned.

"3 years? What are you getting at?"

"How can she say no? If she didn't love you, she would have dumped you long ago!" The shark explained. "She won't say no."

"But what-" I began.

"No buts. You go up to her, say your speech, get down on your knee, and ask her. Simple." The shark replied.

"But-"

"Go!" A dolphin nudged me. "We believe in you!"

I heard a chorus of "Yeah, go do it!", "We believe in you!", and "Good luck, Lord Perseus!" s as I swam to the surface.

I could see her face even before I broke the surface. Her (h/l) (h/c) curled around her face and her (e/c) eyes glistened in the sunlight.

I popped up from the water. I must have surprised her for she gave a small yelp of surprise and stood up.

"Oh, Percy! It's just you!" Her sweet voice sighed in relief.

"Heh... heh... Yep! It's me!" I nervously replied as I hauled myself onto the dock.

"Something wrong?" She asked, concern lacing her words.

"I-no... I'm just... There's a lot on my mind..."

The conch horn sounded and we stood up.

"Will lunch clear your mind?" She asked, extending her hand for me to take.

"Yeah, hopefully." I stood up and wrapped my fingers around hers. We walked to lunch together, laughing and smiling.

I noticed (Y/N) leaving lunch early, so I stood up, took a deep breath, and jogged to catch up to her.

"(Y/N)! Wait up!" I called.

She turned around and stopped walking.

"Hey, uh, will you meet me at the dock tonight? Around seven?" I asked.

"Yeah sure." She replied.

"Wear something somewhat formal." I kissed her lips quickly. "See you then."

I turned around and walked to my cabin.

(Y/N)'s POV

Four hours after lunch was over, I asked Piper to help me get ready.

"Semi-formal?" Piper asked for the fourth time.

"Yes! How many times will you ask?" I replied, clearly annoyed. "Just find me something!"

She dug through her closet and pulled out a pink dress.

"Hmm?"

"Ew, no. Too... just no."

"This one?"
