Chapter Twenty Five: Straight Outta A Horror Movie

"My cellphone isn't working." Daniel says, as Jack frowns, he then goes to check his to see that his isn't working either. "Dammit, looks like we're on our own." Daniel shoves his phone back into his pocket as he turns on his flashlight.

"There's something wrong." Jack says as Daniel turns to face him, confusion reaching to him.

"What do you mean?" Ask Daniel in a worried tone.

"Our phones not working, while we're out here alone in the dark. Just seems odd." Jack says as he keeps walking, Daniel groans as he follows Jack behind.

Jack pulls a bush away to see a shed, Jack smiles as he turns to face Daniel. "Is that it Short?" He asked as Daniel nods.

"That's the place, I'm pretty sure." He said as he starts walking, Jack grabs his collar as he pulls Daniel back. "What?"

"Never go in until you know that it's safe."Jack says as he pulls his bag off of his shoulders to reveal goggles, Daniel's eyes widen. "Heat signature goggles, they detect any movement by anything." Jack says as Daniel smiles. Jack places the goggles on as he looks around the shed, he sees four figures. "There's four people inside." Jack says as Daniel nods.

"Can we go in now?" Daniel asked as Jack puts the goggles back into his bag.

"I'm pretty we can now, since the power is dead." Jack says as he sneaks over towards the shed, Daniel following him behind. They lean against the shed sliding against the cold metal. Jack opens the door as he checks inside, he turns his flashlight on to see no one, Jack goes in first Daniel second.

Jack then checks around, he finds a table with paper on it, he then starts to read some of them. Daniel sighs.

"I thought you said that there was people?" Daniel says looking around. Jack's eyes widen.

"Short, come and look at this." Jack says as Daniel walks over towards him. "Read this." He gives Daniel a piece of paper as Daniel takes it, he begins reading then his eyes widen. "It's the Alice Tetch virus, that thing is deadly." Jack says as Daniel frowns.

"What does Dylan want with it?" Daniel asked as Jack shrugs.

"No good reason, maybe this is what Barbara was delivering him? But it makes no sense, why would Dylan want this?" Jack asked as Daniel sighs as he leans against a wall.

"I don't know, Ahhh!" Daniel falls over, Jack turns to face him with a frown. Daniel has found a secret door. Jack smiles.

"Nice going Short." Jack says as he walks over Daniel. Daniel grunts as he smiles.

"Yay me." Daniel stands up as he dust himself off, then running after Jack following him behind.

They then come across a staircase, they walk down the stairs going deeper into the darkness. They discover a large room, Jack's eyes widen. He then sees a cage with a girl inside, his eyes widen. He runs towards the cell as he looks at her.

"Ryan?" Jack asked as the girl turns to face him, her eyes widen.

"Jack!" She cries as they embrace arms, Jack had found her. He smiles.

"Oh god, are you alright?" He asked as she smiles.

Daniel then discovers Felicity, he smiles as he runs over towards her. "Captain!" Daniel exclaims as Felicity turns to face him with a bright smile.
