A day, 24 hrs and it all happened so fast. The thing is that everyone had something. Color, tattoos, or whatever other unique thing it was.
But for you it was writing. Everything that came from you pen, to your arm, went to your soulmate. You two had decided that you would meet when you were both ready. You had already discussed the day, the date, and the time.
So today was the day. You woke up and sat down at your desk and took out the same pen you always write with on your arm.
Are we still on for today?
You drew. You waited a few seconds until the words disappeared as soon as they came and were then replaced with ones wrote by the one you've been talking to.
Yeah, I'm leaving the house now.
It read. You fluffed up your hair in the mirror, brushed off the little prices of lint of your shirt, checked your shoe laces and hopped on you bike.
Mirkwood forest. The note said. You had wrote it down and put in your pocket, the location of your meeting.
You remembered his exact words.
The quarry's edge
It said on your wrist a few days ago.
That's right, you've been planning for weeks, both of you agreed you'd want it to be secret and prefect so he suggested that it'd be here. You got off your bike and trudged next to it as you dragged it along side you until you rested your bike against a large rock. You looked left and right.
Seeing nothing but as far as you can see, dirt road, especially with no body anywhere. You climbed on top the rock, the same one as your bike rested.
You stared at your knees that hugged your chest and wondered if you actually came out here for nothing, if this was just one big prank.
But a bit far away from your hearing range, you could hear slightly of the sound of a bike tire crumpling the tiny pebbles with footsteps. You ears perked if they even could and shot your head up to the sound.
The quarry was echo-y so you looked in all directions awaiting for the source of the sound, hopefully your soulmate.
But a bit in you vision you could make out what it seemed to be a person, around the same height and age of you.
Red jean jacket with a wolves t shirt. Topping it off with some jeans and a camouflage bandana. A strange outfit for the kids of your generation, usually wearing something in style, but you never liked to judge.
He stared at you, blushing making you feel slightly embarrassed that you didn't wear anything better. He dropped his own bike to the floor and abandoning it and instead running to you.
He stopped a few feet in front of you as you walked closer with caution out of fear that he wouldn't like what he saw.
You felt a few tears stream down but that didn't matter, because you met the one you will love forever. He hugged you tight like a long lost relative.
He talked to you like he had a passion for everything.
He looked at you with a sparkle in his eyes.
And you stayed together until only one of you was left..
