Millie's POV

I wake up at 9 am. Which means that I had to be at breakfast. I open my eyes to the sunlight coming through the opened windows and groan. I'm so tired, my head hurts and my legs almost can't move. The reason for that?

  Last night's game.

It finished at 2 am. And the girls won, obviously. But we had to run. A lot. I remember finding Maddie with our flag in hands and making a plan. I smile at my thoughts.

Crazy as it seems, I actually liked this game. Cause after an hour searching, or just walking around, we realized we had to create a strategy to get the other flag and win. So we did it. And we didn't even have to think a lot.

One of the lazy complaining girls gave me her shirt, she was now only with her sweater, and I used it as a "fake flag". I grabbed it and found some of the boys halfway. Maddie was with me, but she hid herself behind a tree. They wanted my flag and I acted like I was fighting, but gave in. They took it without even looking and ran away, so I followed them. Maddie was with our real flag and she followed them as well.

Long story short, Maddie took their flag and they didn't even notice, until they realized that they had a fake one. We ran as fast as we could and met the other girls at our spot. We then, found our way to Lilia and that's it.

That's why I can't barely get up right now.

I change into a large T-shirt and some black shorts. My hair is curly, naturally, so I leave it that way, but never forgetting the rubber band around my wrist. I wash my face and get out of the room.

Once I'm in the cafeteria, Maddie, sat with Lilia and the boys, screams my name.

"Mills! Here!" She smiles and laughs. "The sleeping beauty finally woke up!"

I just roll my eyes, hiding a small smile. Maddie is really crazy, now practically all eyes are on me, but that's just how she is. I grab an apple and go sit with them, not really hungry.

"And that's why the girls always win, sweetie." Lilia is talking to Gaten as I sit between Maddie and her.

"But the boys rule the world, sweetie." He replies, mocking her voice.

She gets mad and they continue discussing, and I just chuckle at it. I take a bite of the fruit as Maddie starts talking to Caleb about the next Star Wars movie. I roll my eyes at that geek stuff. And then I look at Finn.

He's right in front of me, like he always is, and he is kind of smirking. And it's just at this moment that our last night's encounter come back to my head.

"Put it down!" I yelled at Finn, who was standing right in front of me with his flashlight pointing directly at my eyes.

He lowered it and kept on staring at me. I seriously don't get this guy. He keeps looking at me and smiling and I don't know why I feel the way I feel. I get shivers whenever he smirks at me (and he does that a lot) and I feel my cheeks get warm.

Then, I must've looked like I've been lost in the jungle for three months, I was dirty and messy. But it seemed like he didn't care, like his eyes were staring into my soul. And I got mad at him, for having this affect on me.
