Millie's POV

"Come on, Maddie! We'll go without you!" Lilia whines and I just stand by the door with my arms crossed.

"Oh my goodness, you're both so annoying. I'm coming!" Maddie screams from behind the bathroom door and I sigh.

"She's gonna arrive at any minute! Hurry!" I yell back and she suddenly opens the door.

"Won't you calm down?" She looks at us innocently as she gets out of the bathroom in her bathing suit.

"Argh, let's go." Lilia says and we leave our room.

The sun is almost setting, which means it's beach time, and Sadie said she would arrive today. I told her to come with her bikini underneath her clothes, we'll go straight to the beach.

After I called her a couple of days ago, Lilia, Maddie and I talked to Carla and she was actually happy that someone else was joining us. She said the camp usually makes bonds stronger. And I'm just so happy to get to see my best friend again, and spend the rest of the summer with her.

The three of us are waiting, standing at the entrance of the camp, when a familiar black car appears.

"She's here!" I say happily and run to the car, Maddie and Lilia behind me.

As the backseat door opens, I can see Sadie's unique and wild red locks coming out of the car. Before closing the door, she takes her bag and kiss her mother goodbye, but as soon as she turns to me, I jump to hug her.

"MILLS BABYYYYY!!" She exclaims laughing and hugs me back.

"SADES! Oh, how I missed you!" I reply smiling and let go of her.

"Missed you too. I'm sorry for leaving you." She looks at me with a small smile and I just shrug.

"Don't be. I'm not mad anymore. What matters is that you're here, now." I say and her smile gets bigger when she nods her head in agreement.

"Hi Millie! Good to see you!" Sadie's mum says with the car windows down and I smile getting closer to her.

  "Hey mrs. Sink! You too!"

"I don't have much time to talk now, but I'll catch up with your mom later." I nod and she turns to Sadie. "Sadie, honey, remember everything I told you. Be good and behave yourself." She keeps talking and her daughter just rolls her eyes.

  "Yeah, okay, I know."

"I'll watch over her, mrs. Sink, don't you worry." I say and she gives me that sweet smile of hers.

"I bet." She laughs a little. "I hope you two together don't cause much trouble. Have fun!"

"Bye!" Sadie and I wave at her mom as she leaves in the car.

"So you're Millie's famous best friend! I'm so honored to finally meet you in person!" Maddie makes a reverend and hugs her, while the rest of us start laughing.

"Well, thank you. It's Maddie, right?" She asks and Madds nods, with one of her thumbs up.

  "Yup."

"So... you must be Lilia? The one I talked to on the phone?" Sadie looks at the short haired girl. Lilia smiles and hugs her too.

"Yes, I am! I'm happy to meet you!" She smiles.

"You too. Both of you. You're nicer than I thought." Sadie replies and we all laugh.
