Lilly's P.O.V :
Lauren and I were planning to spend the day together. Lauren was the younger sister I always wanted.. but never had. The 4 year gap between us seemed pretty non-existent. I was sat waiting in a coffee shop for a call from Lauren.
I looked down at the table to see Lauren was calling me.

"Hey " I started the conversation.
Lauren : "Hey Lil ! I've just left Alex, I'm on the way to you now."
Lilly: "Cool ! How far away are you ?"
Lauren : "I'm close, probably about 10 minutes away."
Lilly : "Okay, I'm by the windows, I'll see when you're here anyway."
Lauren : "Okay, See you in a minute"
Lilly : "Byeee"

"I need another one" Lauren groaned as she threw her coffee cup in a bin beside us.
"Are you serious?" I laughed, "That was a large cup"
"You can never have too many pumpkin spice Latte's" She shrugged, joining in with my laughter.
"I'm pretty nervous"I played with the ends my hair as we Continued to walk.
Lauren and I decided to go and see a Psychic. Lauren had to persuade me, but we're going to do it together.
"Don't worry about it, I've never had a negative experience, The last time I went to a psychic, she told me I would be dating Alex, and now look at us, we're happy, right?" She reassured me.
"True" I agreed,
Lauren pushed the door open, and gestured for me to go up the stairs

"Today will be a palm reading, tarot card reading and general things I could see for you." The woman seemed welcoming. It wasn't a stereotypical psychic experience, there wasn't patterned curtains or cloths with intricate patterns on them draped around the room.
There was a table and three chairs, shelves around the room with bright crystals and candles lit beside them. The room smelt of strong incense.
"My name is Josephine, yours?" She looked from me to Lauren.
"Lauren" Lauren smiled, extending her hand out for a handshake.
Josephine looked at me, awaiting a reply.
"Lilly" I smiled sweetly.
"Okay who's first?"
Lauren and I instantly turned to each other, she nodded her head towards me as if to say "you go first"
I took one for the team and turned to Josephine who was laying out cards.
"I'll go first." I said, hiding my nervousness.
"Okay, great." She grinned with enthusiasm, spreading out the cards.
"Right, " she looked up from the cards, " Question?"
I bit the bullet and just asked her the question that grazed my mind over and over again.
"Will I become alone?"
She flipped over a card. "Romantically not, or socially."
She flipped another card "Ah. I see there's a recent romantic flame burning. I see it as very long term." I turned to Lauren who had her hand clasped over her mouth In shock. She doesn't know anything about Dom and I.
"This shows an old flame, unfortunately. but there's two." my face dropped. An old flame? what does that mean ?
"Lucky for you, This leads you and your recent flame to develop. Showing signs of strength."
This reassured me.
"I see both flames growing bigger, It's looking great for you, Lilly." she smiled.
"Thank you so much" I shook Josephines hand thankfully.
"Okay, Lauren, are you ready?" She turned to Lauren

Whilst Lauren got her cards done, I went to the toilet.
I stood at the mirror, quickly checking some messages.
"Dom🕺🏽💗: Hey Lil, just a lil message to see how you are x"
I should probably tell him about the reading.
"Lilly: Hey!! I'm good, how are you ?💗"
"Dom: I'm just as good as you are 😂❤️"
"Lilly: Um.. okay 😂, I just had a Tarot card reading..🤯"
"Dom: Whoa.. What made you wanna do that?🤨"
"Lilly: I'm spending the day with Lauren, she persuaded me to come 🤷🏽♀️"
"Dom : What did the cards say?"
"Lilly: Are you busy tonight? I'd rather tell you in person"
"Dom: No, do you want to come over ?"
"Lilly: Only if cake's involved."
"Dom: Deal.. How's 9?"
"Lilly: perfect. I'll see you later 💗"
I stood in the same spot as the door opened.
"Lilly?" I heard Laurens voice before her head peeped behind the door.
"Lauren?"
"I've just finished my reading. It was amazing, she said that 'my creativity will lead me to great things.' I'm happy." She smiled
"That's awesome" I smiled, trying to conceal the fact that my experience left me confused.
