Chapter 2 : Simply Complicated

Lilly P.O.V :

I walked off of the red carpet with a smile plastered on my face. I've grown so much confidence on red carpets.

I stood in front of the theatre waiting for Kyle so we could be let in.

I scrolled through my Twitter, liking some of Team Super's replies.

I felt ten sensations creep over my waist, 5 a side. A weight pushed down my shoulder.

"Guess Who" A voice said. I instantly knew.

"Dom ?"

"How did you know?" The voice said, laughing and letting go of my waist.

"How could I not" I laughed and turned to face him. I held my arms out for a hug.

"Hey Lil, I've missed you" Dom spoke into my shoulder as we embraced.

" I missed you too" I said letting go of him. "You look very handsome"

"Thanks " He beamed "Why are you still out here ?" He asked.

"Just waiting for my date" I winked,

"What ? Who? Why have they left you waiting?" Dom's expression changed to concerned.

"Dom, don't worry." I laughed, "It's just Kyle, he's gone to the toilet"

"Oh" He facepalmed.

"So who's your date? " I smirked.

"My boy Matt" He said after turning to point at matt who was smelling the flower bushes.

"At least only one of us got stood u-"

"Lilly!!"

We both turned around to see Kyle jogging towards us, causing us to laugh"

He stopped abruptly,
"Dom.. hello" he smirked as he widened his eyes at me out Of Dom's sight,

"Hi ! " Dom kindly smiled, "Anyway, Matt and I should be inside in a bit. " He continued.

"Okay. Kyle we should get going in then." I flashed a smile.

Kyle started to walk towards the entrance as I begun to follow.

" Lilly.." Dom whispered, causing me to stop and face him.

"You look beautiful" he smiled and shrugged.

"Thank you" I mouthed with a smile and continued to walk.

I don't understand it. We're just friends but our behaviour says different. Yes, I'll admit it. We flirt. It's harmless though. I think Dom knows that. Of course I love him, we're best friends.

However, he makes me feel an unexplainable feeling. He brings a heated blush to my face almost instantly, He makes me feel good about myself, his support means more than most.

As I caught up with Kyle we linked arms.
"So.." Kyle said with raised eyebrows.

"Oh. It was nothing" I lied as my face heated up

"Why are you brushing this off? If it was nothing your face wouldn't resemble a tomato, Lilly."

"I think they're our seats.. " I pointed to a sign saying 'Reserved For:"

"Lilly." Kyle said as he stopped walking.

I stopped and turned to Kyle,
" I'm serious, It was nothing. We hugged and he said i looked nice" I shrugged.

" He said you looked nice.. just nice?" Kyle squinted.

"Well he said beautiful but that's not the poi..."

"WHAT ?!" He Gasped, cutting me off

"Kyle.. shhhhh" I laughed and shook my head

Dom's P.O.V

As lilly continued to walk away, I instantly regretted my comment. Yes I meant it, but did she find it weird or awkward?

"Wow" I sighed.

"Ready to go?" Matt tapped my shoulder.

"Yeah" I smiled at him.

"How did it go?"
"How did what go?" I scrunched my brows in confusion.
"Talking to Lilly" He said as we begun to walk.

"oh that.. it was okay." I lied with a convincing smile
