"Guys, you did amazing!" I said as I pulled Luke into a hug. I broke out of the hug and Luke had a look of disappointment on his face.
"Sorry, I have to go find a place to stay tonight." I said as I looked at the ground. "Hey! Can I have your number before you leave?" He asked me as he blushed.
God. He looks so cute when he blushes.
"Uh, yeah." I said looking at his phone. He handed it to me as I handed my phone to him. "I'll text you later." Luke said as he opened the garage door, letting me out. "Okay." I said, and with that, I was gone.
∆∆ Luke's POV ∆∆
I texted Lylah and, to my surprise, she quickly responded. We continued to talk for hours, with no end.
We talked about our interest, nonsense, and even some serious stuff. I came to the realization that I really liked her. We have so much in common and I decided to ask her out. Wait, what if she says no? We only met today, so I wouldn't be surprised.
Weeks, that turned into months, went by and me and Lylah talked every minute of every day. I liked her but I didn't know if she liked me. The boys tried getting us to date a few times, but it never worked. We always would cuddle on my couch and watch movies, but it never went further than that.
School started a couple of months ago and Lylah seemed to be taking interest in Ashton. I was cool with it since I didn't want to jeopardize our friendship. We had become so close with each other and I wasn't about to ruin it.
Lylah texted me and asked me the oddest question.
What if I told you Ashton asked me on a date?
If you're happy.. I'm happy :)

I lied to her. I'm not happy she's going on a date with my best friend. I love her, more than she'll ever know.
