∆∆ Lylah's POV ∆∆
As soon as I walked in, the only thing I saw was Ashton and some girl, as I later found out was Gemma, sucking each other's faces off. They continued, clearly not seeing me. When they did, Ashton pulled back immediately.
"Lylah, babe, I can explain. It's not what it looks like." Ashton said, grabbing my wrist lightly, and pulling me toward him. "Let go of me." I barked, pulling away as I felt tears brim my eyes. "No. Lylah, listen." He told me stepping toward me again. "No! Why should I listen to you when you're sucking some sluts face off!" I said, harsher than I meant to. "Uh, excuse you. On Gemma, not some slut." She said, matter-of-factly. "Shut up. Stay out of this." I said, as a year slipped my eye. "I thought we were okay, why would you do this?" I asked, as I was more confused than ever.
"Look, I didn't mean for it to happen like this." He said, being gentle with his words. "Whatever, I'm leaving. We're done." I said as I walked out of his house to a, now, very rainy day.
See, this is why I love rain, it matches my tears.
As I was walking to god knows where, I bumped into Luke.
∆∆ Luke's POV ∆∆
"Lylah! Are you okay?" I asked, concerned to why she was outside when it was pouring rain. "I'm fine." She said as she sniffled. "No you're not. Even though we haven't talked for three months, I'm your best friend, you can talk to me." I said, opening my arms up for a hug. She walked over closer to me and dug her head on my neck. "I'm going back to my place, you wanna come and talk?" I asked, wanting to get out of my soaked clothes. "But I'm wet!" She said as she laughed, which triggered another sniffle. "I'll give you clothes. Come on." I said as we started walking again.
We got in and I handed her a pair of sweats and my favorite Blink-182 shirt. I grabbed some blankets and food because I was cold and hungry.
"Thank you, I'm so cold and so hungry!" She said like she was reading my mind.
This is why I love her. We are like one person. We love the same things, share the same interests, and have fun with each other, even when we do nothing.
Too bad she's dating Ashton..
