∆∆ Lylah's POV ∆∆
After we finished getting ready, we started walking to Luke's house. He took my hand in his as we were just about to enter his house.
"You ready?" He asked, grabbing the door handle. "As ready as I'll ever be." I said, chuckling.
We walked in and she gave me a hug. "Hi! I'm Liz." She said, after she pulled away from the hug. "I've heard so much about you!" She said, not giving me a chance to speak. Luke wide-eyed Liz and she left.
"Sorry about that. She's just excited, I guess." He said. We ate dinner and talked about anything and everything. I thanked Liz and gave her another hug before leaving.
Luke said he has to take me somewhere, so I let Luke lead the way. The places looked familiar, but I couldn't tell where we were going. Then it dawned on me, the treehouse.
"Luke! We're going to the treehouse again?" I said, a little too excited. "Well, isn't someone happy about that." He said, laughing at me. "It was just so beautiful. It was perfect." I said, looking at him.
"Thanks, I try." He said, trying to sound girly.
I just laughed at him and we continued walking hand in hand. We got to the treehouse and we climbed up the ladder.
We got up and got situated. "Luke?" I asked. "Yeah?" He asked back. "How did you find this?" I asked, sitting down on the pallet I just finished making for me and Luke. "My mom and dad bought this land when I was, like, 5. My dad built this treehouse and ever since he left, this is where I come to think. I've written, and still do, write songs up here. I also have this notebook," he paused getting up to get the notebook. "I draw random things in it to show my emotions." He said, looking at the floor in embarrassment.
"Well Luke, what are we doing this time?" I asked, up for anything he said. "Well, all I have is movies and my laptop? You up for a cuddle?" He asked, patting the empty space beside him. "I'm always up for a cuddle!" I said, earning a laugh from Luke.
"Before we start the movie, I have something to tell you." He said, tears prickling in the corner of his eyes.
