"Are you comfortable, your highness?" I said, looking down at MinKyu lying in the bed.
"I told you to stop that." he giggled.
I laughed and threw myself onto the bed, rolling around and messing up the blankets."Goodnight~" I said.
MinKyu didn't respond, his back facing towards me.
I gently placed my hand on his shoulder. "I saw the bruises."
He flinched when I said that. Still no response.
I tried to comfort him a little."Do you wanna talk about it?"
He slowly turned to face me, and I could tell he was holding back tears."It... it was my dad."
I knew it...
I gently put my hand against his cheek. "I know..."
MinKyu hugged me, sobbing now. "It's okay..." I cooed softly "It's okay to cry."
After a while his cries turned to small sniffles and eventually ceased. I looked down at his swollen face and puffy eyes. He looked so peaceful now that he'd fallen asleep. I felt as though Min Ku needed me. A feeling foreign to me... the feeling of being needed, possibly wanted. I vowed to myself to protect him no matter what and always be there. We both had nobody else to rely on but each other. A lot can happen in a week I suppose.
I soon grew tired and soon found myself drifting off to sleep slowly. My eyes grew heavy and crept shut. MinKyu's sleeping face being my last sight till' morning.
