Jason carefully wrapped the shivering boy in a blanket and handed him a steaming cup of tea. Even though it was summer, the nights were cold and wet. It had rained heavily that night.

"How long were you out there?" Jason asked. Worry apparent in his voice.

MinKyu stuttered. "I... I don't know. A-All night m-maybe?"

Jason paced the floor. Trying to hold back angry tears as he flung his hand forcefully down on the wall. "Who did this." He muttered heatedly.

MinKyu paused as he tried to recall. He gasped quickly and said, "L-look on the kitchen table!"

Jason ran to the kitchen table and found an single note. It read,

John,
If you ever want to see your son again, pay back all the money you owe and give us 10,000 dollars extra. If you don't, then I'll have to kill him.

Jason slammed the paper back onto the table.

MinKyu flinched and looked over at Jason, who was breathing heavily as he crushed the note in his hand. "Jason, c-calm down."

He snapped at MinKyu. "No! I promised myself I'd protect you!"

He recoiled away from Jason as he stepped forward, moving closer to his face. "Who did this?!"

"I-I didn't see their face, but it was a very t-tall man. His voice sounded k-kinda Irish to m-me."

Jason thought for a second. "Whoever did this must've realized they got the wrong person and made a run for it; forgetting to take the note back in the process, and I think I know who it is."

"W-Who?" MinKyu asked quietly.

"That Irish biker guy my dad owes money."

"What if he comes back?" MinKyu asked worriedly.

"I promise I'll protect you Park MinKyu."
