I will protect them...
"Listen, I understand your intentions, but this is crazy!" MinKyu followed after Jason into the garage. "You're never going to get this thing to work! It's impossible!"
"Nothing's impossible, Min." Jason said, leaning over into the hood of the dilapidated car.
"Well, that's a matter of opinion, Jason, but there's no way it's gonna-"
MinKyu was interrupted by the sound of the engine starting up. "work..." he finished.
"How did you-"
"I can't believe you ever doubted me." Jason said, patting MinKyu on the shoulder with a smirk.
It was simple baby stuff, really. Although he liked the look in Minkyu's eyes so he didn't dare tell. A magician never reveals his secret after all.
"So, Park Minkyu." Jason started.
Minkyu looked up from his task with a sour look. "Yeah?"
"You ready?"
"I was born ready, okay?"
Jason nodded. "Good, good."
"When do we leave? It's getting dark soon..."Jason didn't much want to stay another night in that house after what had happened.
"We'll sleep in the car."
"What? You've gotta be kidding me, that things tiny!"Jason smirked slightly. "Or, you could always sleep in the grass again."
Minkyu's eyes widened a bit, making Jason chuckle. "N-No thank you!" He huffed.
"Well, go gather some blankets, it outta' be cold tonight."
Minkyu nodded and rushed off towards the house.
Jason put his face in his hands. "The things I do for that kid..." he sighed and laughed, looking back at the car.
