13 of April of 1942. Beach City, Delmarva, United States of America
-No! No! No! Why I can't find Hitler? Why they don't see that they are being manipulated? Why the humans can be so evil!?- Rose Quartz said crying while punching the floor of her room.
She, again, failed to capture the Führer. The German soldiers remainded her when she was young. Obedient and loyal to their leaders, in Rose's case, to her Diamond, Pink Diamond. Soldiers that are like the other soldiers, that can die and be replaced by other soldiers. Soldiers made to subject, made to put order, made to bring fear. Soldiers that fight and die believing that they are killing for their families, their nation, but, in reality, for the caprice of their leaders.
Rose stand up and healed Lion's wounds, who left her making a portal to an unkown place. She had secrets that she wanted to hide for the other Crystal Gems. She didn't liked to had them, but it was to mantain the Crystal Gems, her family united. Rose hoped that, if her secrets were discovered by the Crystal Gems, they can forgive her.
-Rose! Rose! Where are you?- Amethyst said from the other said of her room. While she can hear everything that comes from outside, like a normal door, the sound that is made in Rose's room can't be heard outside it.
Rose dry her tears and put a smile in her face. The Crystal Gems didn't know of her failed tris to take down Hitler and the other Axis leaders. She went out of her room.
-I am here Amethyst- Rose said getting out of her room. The door closed inmediately.
-Come on Rose, we have to go to the Great Opening of the Fish Stew Pizza. You promised to them that you will be their first client- Amethyst said.
-Oh, I completely forget about that!- Rose said.
-Well, I'm here to remembering for you!- Amethyst said hugging Rose.
For Amethyst, Rose Quartz was like a mother. This because when Rose scolded her, unlike Pearl, Rose explained very well to Amethyst the reasons and also in a way that she can felt confortable, so she can learn from this. Also because, at any mistake that she has done, Rose was ever to help and guide her. Rose was her first real and best friend. The times when Amethyst felt sad because of her origin, because she, indirectly, damaged to the Earth, her planet, since she born in the Earth, her home and also for not being a Gem from the Homeworld, Rose was at her side, telling her that it wasn't her fault and that she has to be proud to be an Earthling by birth.
-Thank you Amethyst!- Rose said to Amethyst, stirring her hair.
The 2 Quartz left the Temple. Outside, in the beach, were Pearl and Garnet were making another ship to go to Europe. It was a beautiful night.
