5 of May of 1942. Palavas-les-flots, Hérault, Occitanie, France
The Crystal Gems and Howling Commandos returned to Palavas-les-flots. There, the Captain America and Rose Quartz will board a plane to inflitrate the Najac castle to dimish the Hydra forces in there while the rest will make their way to Najac. It was the first hours of the 5 of May.
-¡Feliz Cinco de Mayo!- Amethyst was saying happily to everyone. Of course nor she or the rest of the Crystal Gems knew what Cinco de Mayo (May 5) was about, only that was a Mexican party.
-Amethyst, we don't even know what the celebration is about- Pearl said a little annoyed.
-It doesn't matter Pearl. It would be their Independence day or the day of a Saint in a pueblo called Puebla. ¡Feliz Cinco de Mayo!- Amethyst said with a big smile in her face.
In their way to the submarine, the Amethyst was shouting "¡Feliz Cinco de Mayo!" to everyone, surprising the French Resistance soldiers, confusing the American ones and annoying the ones that were sleeping. Amethyst continued to do this in the sub, were the rest, including Marc Bloch, were waiting for them.
-¡Feliz Cinco de Mayo!- Amethyst said.
-Do you know what the celebration is about?- Bloch said testing Amethyst.
-Is the Independence Day of Mexico!- Amethyst said.
-Non, is the celebration of a militar victory of the Mexican army led by the General Ignacio Zaragoza in 5 of May of 1862 on Puebla against the French Army led by Charles Ferdinand Latrille, Comte de Lorencez. We were the most powerful army in that time and they defeated us- Bloch said.
-Owwww! Sorry! I didn't wanted to make joke of you- Amethyst said very ashmed.
-Is all right, we and Mexico reopened our relationship in the 1880's and we know that the Mexican ambassador, Gilbeto Bosques, is helping people to get out of the war sending them to Mexico, so there is not enmity between the Mexicans and us- Bloch said.

Bosques qualified as a teacher, after having studied and been an assistant in a school. At the same time he joined the ranks of Venustiano Carranza.
