5 of May of 1942. Najac, Aveyron, France
The Crystal Gems were so exhausted that they barely hold on. The Howling Commandos came and help them to stand up. They were cheerig them up.
-Well done Crystal Gems, well done- Farnsworth said.
-Never doubted for a second!- Dum Dum Dugan said.
-Where is the Captain America?- Rose asked.
They started to look around.
-There!- Bucky said, pointing to the Captain America, who was walking to them.
-You did it Captain- Rose said.
-Thanks to you, all of you. All of you were important to win this battle and this war- the Captain said.
-Garnet, did we...?- Rose asked.
-Yes Rose, we rescued all the Corrupted Gems that Hydra had in their hands in this area- Garnet said.
Rose started to cry because of the hapinees.
-So, what's next?- Pearl asked.
-For now, we have to leave France. Hydra reinforcements will come in matter of hours- Garnet said.
-And after some resting, we will fight again to rescue our fallen friends and purt an end to this horrible war- Rose said.
-Rose, take my word that we'll be ready fro whatvere Hydra throws at us and that we will do everything to find even the smallest rat holes from where Hydra is- the Captain said, extendind his hand.
-Thank you, Steven Rogers. If I have a son, he will have your name- Rose said extending her hand to the Captain, making a friendly handshake.
They were took by the planes to Palavas-les-flots. There, the Crystal Gems said goodbye, to Marc Bloch, who stayed in France to continue fighting the Germans.
-(In French) Take good care and thanks for everything. Oh, and read one of my books- Bloch said.
-(In French) We will Monsiour Bloch! Good luck mon ami!- Rose said.
The Crystal Gems returned to the United States in the submarine with the Captain America. The Crystal Gems and the Captain America said goodbye, until the next. The Crystal Gem went to the closest warp pad to return to Beach City. By the way, the Najac Castle was one of the few things that survived the battle of the Crystal Gems against the Schlafwagen. And that's the story of why Rose chose the name of Steven for his son.
