1 of May of 1942. Agde, Hérault, Occitanie, France
Thanks to Garnet's future vision, the ship of the Crystal Gems, the Rupphire, avoided to get the attention of the Axis in the water. But, when they landed in Agde, the situation changed. There, a Hydra division, alongside the regular French army, was waiting for them. The Hydra and French soldiers started to attack the Crystal Gems.
-Dam! How I failed to foresee this!? Why I'm failing so much!?- Garnet said to herself.
-Don't be so hard on you Garnet- Rose said while summoning and launching shields to the Hydra.
-Rose is right Garnet- Pearl said getting out her staff and launching energy projectiles to the Hydra and French soldiers to knock out them.
-Garnet, remember that nobody is perfect. But the important thing is to learn form our mistakes- Rose said while avoiding the shots of the Hydra soldiers.
-Thanks Rose. I need that- Garnet said.
-Let's jump already to action!- Amethyst said.
-Crystal Gems, attack!- Rose ordered.
The Crystal Gems jumped ans striked some soldiers, while the Rupphire sink because the attacks of the Hydra soldiers. Rose summoned her shield and launched it to a Hydra soldier, dropping his weapon, then Rose ran and hit him with a knee launching him. When a Hydra soldier was about to shot Rose, Pearl saved Rose kicking in the face tha Hydra soldier, launching him in the water. Amethyst, was taking care of the French soldiers, doing her Spin Dash attack and launching them to the water. Garnet, using her future vision, avoided easily the attacks of the Hydra soldiers, and was knocking them. Unware of this, the Crystal Gems separated in pairs: Rose and Pearl, whose entered the town, and Garnet and Amethyst, whose were fighting in the coast of the town. Entering in the town, while hitting, kicking and punching the Hydra and French forces, Rose and Pearl noticed that, they more they entered to the town, the less soldiers that they were facing. In some point, there wasn't any soldier.
-Something wrong here...- Pearl said, getting close to Rose.
-Yes Pearl. Keep your eyes open- Rose said while holding her shield.
The pair of Crystal Gems walked slowly, feeling that the enemy can attack at any moment. The air was dense. In the background, the noise of the battle of Garnet and Amethyst agaisnt the Hydra and French forces. Sudennly, both Rose and Pearl heard heavy footsteps, metal footsteps.
-Is Sugalite?- Pearl whispered to Rose.
-I don't think so. The humans aren't shouting about a Giant Woman. Also that Sugalite will be an easy target for the Hydra forces. It must a machine- Rose whispered.
