Just arriving, Amethyst went inside the temple for the signed comic of the Captain America. She told Rose that she wanted to give it to the little Nanefua. The pair of Quartz ran to the Pizza shop, only to found that was desolated.
-What happened here?- Rose said sad.
-Oh, Miss Rose Quartz, long time no see. Where did you?- Mister Fryman said getting out of the of his restaurant.
-Mister Fryman, we were on a trip. What happened to the Pizza family?- Rose asked.
-They were deported to Ghana, since they were illegal inmigrants. They told me to give you this letter- Mister Fryman said a little sad, giving the letter to Rose.
Amethyst, devasted, ran to the Temple, crying. At seeing Amethyst crying, Pearl went with her to comfort her.
Rose read the letter. They gave her thanks for helping them and gave her the photo that they took months. Sad, Rose returned to the Temple and entered to her room. There, she called Lion and, inside him, she put the letter and the photo in the tree. In the night, Pearl, as always, in her room, took out the mirror that she found milleniums ago, and told her all what they do, with full details. The Gem trapped in the mirror, the only Gem student that Mew had, Lapis Lazuli, heard quietly what Pearl said. Somedays after, the Crystal Gems gave to Mew the Schlafwagen and he took them to his home in the Three of the Beginning. Somedays later, the Crystal Gems returned to the war, failling again, but knowing this time that, at least, the Captain America and the Howling Commandos were putting an end to Hydra. At some point of 1942, Marc Bloch was captured by the Germans. He never gave any information to the Gestapo, who tortured him.
