A Monster in Mans Clothing

The Package

   I looked at the package in my hands. It was standard besides for a seal that I didn't recognize. "Okay lets see what it is I guess?" I went over to the kitchen and grabbed a knife. I opened the package and inside was a letter all by its self, It read. "I'm back Carrie, did you miss me? No? Well i'm sure you miss them HAHAHAHAHA!" I gasped as I dropped the package, and fell to my knees trembling.

"No no no no, it cant be!" I felt my tears streaming down my cheeks. I then saw the picture of my parents in the package, it was taped to the back of the letter and was splattered with old blood.

    (It was a normal day like any other then at night my parents heard a noise. Being the cautious people they were they both went to check what it was as I followed behind a little farther. They were met with a tall pall man he was in a trench coat and black hat that was a mix of bowler hat and fedora, he looked at them and smiled. I panicked and went under the coffee table as he grew twice in size. He grabbed my father and slammed him into the banister for the stairs, it broke and impaled him in the chest killing him. Then my mother grabbed a pistol from a secret cabinet and shot the creature 3 times in the chest. It smiled and threw all the bullets back at her. Her scream was cut short as she died. I grabbed a knife from the kitchen and plunged it into its heart. It looked at me in utter horror as it started to disappear. I tried to call the cops but when I told them what happened they said "Go talk to your parents about a nightmare and not us." They said laughing. "I CAN'T THEY'RE DEAD" I said sobbing loudly. The officer stop laughing and sighed "whats your address?" She said sounding tired... After they arrived and saw me laying next to my dead mother sobbing they picked me up and took me to the station. The operator who had disregarded me had decided to take me in.)

I was 7 then, i'm 23 now it was so long ago I never thought I would go through it again. But its back.
