It was a couple of weeks since I had met them. My only freinds, they were clueless of my "situation" but it was better that way. It kept them out of the fear that constantly consumed me. I was heading over to this frozen yogurt place with them when i first saw him again. He was just like he was that night, he was tall unhumanly pale, and had a trench coat hiding his horrible figure. I went stiff and started shaking violently at the same time I started to feel tears streaking down my face.
"Hey are you okay?" Nina said tapping my shoulder. I tried not let them see my tears and said "yeah just saw a bird fall off a window." I said trying to sound nonchalant. "You sure? You were crying." Gabriel said with a very serious expression. (shit) "I am? I didn't realize." I said trying to act confused, which apparently I was good at because they left me alone the whole way there.
We got to the place, it was called SweetFrog, it had a nice interior a decent selection and some nice toppings. But that wasn't on my mind right now, it was the creature that filled my thoughts. Why only now do I see it, when I start to relax is the only time it comes. What a dick. "Hey guys im gonna head on home I got to work on my resume." I said getting up from my seat. " See you later!" they said simultaneously. I walked home and started thinking. Should I tell them? My first thought is no ill put them in harms way, but then again they could help strength in numbers right? Maybe tomorrow. I deicided to call them and ask if they could come over and talk tomorrow. Now I need to get started on this resume.
It was Saturday afternoon and they were on their way over. I regreted inviting them over, I was panicking. I heard a car pull up outside which was kind of rare. I lived in a city and walking was the norm in my complex' I hadn't seen a car pull in many times. "Hey come on in." I said fealing like i was gonna puke. Man I didn't think that this would be so hard. "Okay so what did you wana talk about." Nina said with a kind of weird excited look on her face."well" I said getting hesitant, what I said tonight would change the course of my history.
