             "STEP ON IT!" I yelled as I looked back to Basmu. He wasn't as fast as I thought he would be, but the extra speed was necessary. No taking chances, but at the same time I wonder how many people are caught in the cross-fire right now. It's weird, I guess it was because I defeated him back then, but I still wondered why he was so fixated on us. "How far away is he?" Jeff asked keeping his eyes on the road. " Pretty far away, you could lose him if you get out of sight" I said making sure I kept watching him in case anything changed.

               We turned off into a tunnel that had a side exit, we went through it and hid behind a clothing store. "Is everyone okay?" Gabriel asked while checking Nina for injuries. I looked over myself, and besides a couple of scratches I was fine. Toby had a cut on his cheek from falling, it wasn't that bad but should be patched up. "I'll go check and see if they have any bandages." I said getting up "I'm going to go with you I need to go splash my face with some water." Nina said getting up shakily. " Anybody else need something" I asked waiting for a response "Maybe we should all go in, that way we can get some new clothes to replace our ragged ones." Suggested Gabriel getting up to help Nina walk to the store.

         When I got inside I didn't see anybody working at the counter so I decided to look for some clothes for me and Jane since we were about the same size. I picked up a gray hoodie, some black jeans, and some wool gloves. For Jane i picked a button up shirt, some sleek black khakis, and some new boots, her soles had come off. I walked back to the counter, but it was still empty. "Hello?!" I kinda yelled into the back of the store. I heard a crash and some cursing as I guy said. "Sorry ill be right there!" 

      "Sorry to keep you waiting, was doing some stock checking in the back." He said while ringing my stuff up." It's no problem the others are still picking their stuff." I said while getting my wallet out. He was decent looking, brown hair with blue eyes. he was tall probably 5,7 and had a thin frame.  " you guys look like you've been through the wringer, what happened?" He asked while handing me my bag, worry spreading to his face. " You don't want to know" said Jeff, appearing out of nowhere again. " Do you have any bandages?" asked Jeff pointing over towards Toby who was using a rag from the van to keep the blood from going to his eye." yeah we have a emergency kit in the back, ill go get it." he said heading towards the back. "Thank you." I called over to him. he looked back and smiled and continued towards the back.

          "Surprised you can be thinking about hot stuff over there in this situation." Said Jane poking me in the side " What are you talking, that's the last thing on my mind?! I said my face turning red. "suuure, soo you didn't blush when he smiled at you, or when i mentioned it." Jane said with her signature smirk. "Uh I did, did I?" I said trying to hide my face in my hands. "I got the kit, whats up with her?" he ask giving it to Jeff. "Nothing it's nothing, thanks for the help." I said flustering." Your welcome if you guys need help with anything just let me know, it's Drew by the way." said shaking Gabriel's hand. " You mind us resting up here for a while?" I said smiling. " No problem, stay as long as you like." he said smiling big and flustered. " Thank you Drew." I said walking back to the shirts Jane beside me. "Those were some slick moves back, pretty boys completely  flustered now." she said while checking some tee shirts. "What are you talking about I was just being respectful, he's letting us stay even though the stores supposed to be closing soon." I said trying not to blush. "Sure honey keep telling yourself that." Jane said laughing. Maybe, just maybe.
