As I said before walking was the norm but honestly I was in the rush so I ended up taking the bus. People always say they're a horror show but the buses were not ever really cramped. The bookstore I was going to was one I had been going to for last 5 years, it would be my escape from school since people somehow always knew where I lived. It had a weird way of always being empty but filled with sound which, I know that doesn't sound good for a bookstore but it wasn't a kind sound like the city traffic, it was more of a soothing sound that I couldn't ever identify what it was. Ever since my first time there I fell in love with the place and the people that worked there. Toby, Jane, and Jeff we're very kind people and took their job seriously. Two months ago they said I should try to get work there if I was short on money, they said they've been watching how I handle everything in the store, and since I know the place so well I would be perfect for the job, and I told them I would think about it. After I left my college I had decided I would try and get the job, not for the money but to simply to pay my respects to the place that sheltered me for so long.

"Hey Carrie, how are ya!" said Toby "I'm doing fine, even made some new friends but i'm here for an interview" I said smiling " I thought you looked more dressed up than usual, but I hoping it was because you finally got date" Jane said with devious smirk that was usually plastered on her face. "You know that's not going to happen, i'm just not one of those people I guess." I said.  " And maybe the better for it if you're gonna keep bringing demons around with you." Jeff said while walking past Toby and Jane.

"What do you mean demons?" Toby asked "The one that stopped on the corner before you went into the store." Jeff said acting like it was nothing out of the ordinary and it probably wouldn't be for him.

Let me talk about these three, Jane's both the responsible one and the mischievous one, she is also the most self confident person I know, plus she's married. Toby is outgoing as well as kind, he has a million jokes and he cares for people no matter what but he can be like a little kid sometimes. Then you have Jeff... where do I start, ever since I first met him he's always kinda put me off, he has a strange way of appearing out of nowhere and like with what he just said i wonder how he got like that. I wonder about him but if there's one thing I can give him is that he takes good care of Toby. Those two have been dating for 2 years now and I don't have any idea how, they're complete opposites.

"Are you being serious?" I asked "Yeah but never seen one like that yet again read about it," He said while still continuing to do his work." What did it look like?" i said. If he had never even read about Basmu then it must not be well known. "Well it was hiding in your shadow as a black snake but when you reach the corner it turn to something that resembled a tall man." he said finally stop from his work to look at while he was talking to me he could tell i was serious. " You saw Basmu, god then I guess you know about it now." I said. I came here for an interview, not to deal with this shit. But still maybe he could help me deal with it, he seems to know a lot about this kind of thing. "I'm sorry this is out of my hands" he said throwing his hands in front of him. "Geez what are you psychic, any way I don't want to talk about it now, anyway is Jack ready for me." I said rubbing my forehead. "Yes and I would be careful, he not in a good mood today." Jane said. " okay thanks for warning, and ill explain all of this later while also doing some research." i said heading to the office.

"Ah Carrie come on in and take a seat." Jack said while putting some papers on his desk. It was only until I went to sit down that it was my resume and reference sheet. " I was quite surprised when I saw your resume arrive on my desk." he said smiling. "I was starting to think that you would never apply." he said laying back in his seat. "well I just recently dropped out of college because of recent events so I thought I should start working, as well as repay this place for sheltering me." I said keeping professional yet somber poise.

"Yes, I heard what happened and as to the store, you have nothing to repay it was made for the shelter and entertainment of the people so you would only be helping it do its job better. " he said as put away my papers." I never thought a interview would be necessary, you have always been overqualified for this you brighten the place up when walk in and other customers will connect to you so easily. You got the job long ago but you have to live up to my expectations." He his eyes never leaving mine. I was moved and also a little nervous, that what a lot to live up to."thank you sir I will do my best to be the person you believe me to be and better."I said with the best grin I have had in weeks." you are dismissed, start tomorrow so you can celebrate today." he said going back to his work.
