With the air smelling toxic, and shadows forming around them, it was hard to take notice of the ferocity forming on Basmu's eyes. It was then I saw something new about Basmu he was completely made of shadow, besides his eyes glowing bright red, and two gleaming white fangs.
"Everyone we have to get out of here!" Yelled Gabriel grabbing Nina and me and herding us along out of the cloud of smoke. Everyone followed suit and in a couple of seconds we were at the end of the street turning the corner, not bad for a couple of drunks. " I think we lost him" Toby said looking behind him. " You know you're not supposed to say that, its called karma!" I said raising my voice.
And sure enough, right after I said that We saw another thing come flying towards us. " A FUCKING BUS, SON OF A BITCH TOBY! I yelled while shoving people into the alley next to us. "Hey it's not like it was really his fault!" yelled Jeff as he ducked and rolled into alley right before the bus hit the ground and smashed into the street lamp that was behind us." I know that, i'm just angry with the situation were in, i'm sorry Toby." I said looking back making sure he knew I was being sincere." It's no problem but can we focus on the task at hand, getting out of here alive.
We hadn't heard anything for a while, but we knew he was still out there, waiting, watching, and listening for our next move. We were doing the the same. I looked for another way out of there and saw that there was two paths." Maybe we can escape from one of these other alleys?" I said trying to figure out which one to take. " Yeah we could but at the same time we could call the police and wait it out." Said Jane pulling out her phone. " I wouldn't bother, trust me they wont believe you." I said trying to not think of that night.
I deiced we would take the right path and we all started moving down the alley keeping and eye on all angles. "We're back at the bar, so we could drive out of here." said Gabriel getting his keys ready. "Depends on how many cars we have, there's 6 people here. "Our van can fit that many." Said Nina who was still super drunk. "Okay then that's decided, we will take your car.
"WHERE ARE YOU! COME OUT AND FACE YOUR DEATH YOU MISERABLE BUGS!" Basmu roared above us. "He's on the roof of the building behind us." Whispered Jeff "We can still use the van to escape, if we hurry." He said taking the keys from Gabriel, and getting into running stance. He ran faster than I had every seen anybody run in my life he crossed the street in two seconds, and was already getting the car started. " I WILL FIND YOU AND I WILL GIVE YOU NO MERCY, I WILL DISPLAY YOUR BODIES TO THE WORLD AND REVEL IN THEIR MISERY, AS I TAKE MORE OF THE ONES THEY LOVE! THEY WILL BEG FOR THEIR SWEET DEATH, I WILL NOT GIVE IT TO THEM!" Basmu almost screamed throwing cars every which way in the street opposite of us. "We need to get out of here." Jeff said as he pulled up " Yeah no kidding" I said while climbing into the back backseats.
As we started driving away I could see him in his full fury, he was above the buildings, smoke billowing from his legs and arms, smashing everything in sight lights, cars, signs.
