It's been a couple hours since Aaron brought me here, and it has been beyond perfect.

This is the perfect place to tell him I like him.

"Hey, you wanna go on a walk? We can leave this stuff here it's fine." He smiles.

I nod my head. "Sounds perfect."

We both grab our dog leads and attach them to Tiger and Guppy.

We then walk around the pathway, talking about life.

"So, How's your YouTube channel doing?" He asks like he doesn't watch us.

"Oh! Stopped watching our YouTube channel have you?" I joke sarcastically.

He blushes. "Maybe."

We both laugh.

I love his laugh, and his caring personality, and how handsome he is, and how genuine he is, how honest and- I could go on for hours so I'll stop myself there.

We find our way to a lake and sit down.

This would be the most romantic place to tell him.

I turn around and face him, and he does the same.

"I have something to tell you." I look down and then back up at him. He nods as if to carry on.

"Ever since we first -"

"SPLASH"

"Guppy!" Aaron screams, stripping off his shirt and jumping in the lake to save guppy.

I stand up quickly and rush over to the edge to help him out.

"There you go guppy." I smile, placing him down.

"Uh!" I laugh, as he shakes himself, spraying muddy water on me.

"Now as for you." I put my hands on my hips.

"Puleaseeee!" He begs.

"Fine." I laugh, reaching out my hand.

Rookie mistake.

He gives one tug and my hand and I fall head first into the freezing cold water.

Shivering, I surface to find Aaron no where to be seen.

"Aaron?" I call out. He suddenly pops up from under the water and I scream.

"Aaron!" I laugh, swimming closer to him. I brush some hair out of his eyes and he gently splashing water at me.

"Hey!" He yells as I start swimming away.

He catches up to me breathless, and pulls me into a bear hug.

I wrap my arms around his exposed torso and smile. I love this boy.

I look up at him, the perfect moment.

I look down at the murky water and then Back up into his beautiful eyes.

We both lean in and our lips brush when a light flashes on us.

"Oi! Get out of the lake it is not for swimming!" He yells angrily.

I blush immensely and start to swim to the edge.

The security guard left but the time we arrive back to the bench, where guppy and Tiger are sitting, watching us.

We start walking back to the place in silence, awkward silence.

We almost kissed, maybe he did like me in That way?

We arrive back and Aaron notices me shivering.

He does the cliche thing of handing me his coat. I laugh and place it around my shoulders.

"Veronica, I like you." Aaron blurts.

"Like-"

"Like more than friends. It's okay if you don't feel the same I just needed to tell you." He smiles, looking at me.

"Aaron, I'm sorry I d-" I start but he interrupts me, a fearful look in his eyes.

"You've been pranked! This is all a prank! Gotcha!" He laughs, not a sincere one though, a definite fake laugh, and his eyes are glossy with tears.

"Oh." Is all I can manage.

I feel my eyes start to water so I pick up tigers lead.

"Thank you for this but I have to go now." I say, turning around just as the tears start to fall.

I throw Aaron's jacket behind me and run to the car, busting down crying when I arrive.

Of course he doesn't like you Veronica.

Your such a fool.
