"Do you want to come with us Nessa?" I ask my sister as I put on my shoes.

"No, I'm not spoiling your double date. Besides, who would I go with?" She laughs.

Lauren and Alex invited us on a double date, and we agreed.

We are going to call it a 'best friend date', but after yesterday's conversation I feel like there are some sparks that weren't there before.

I finish getting ready and do a twirl to show Nessa.

"Very lovely. Your boyfriend will be in awe." She winks.

"He's not my boyfriend!" I exclaim annoyed.

"Practically is." She argues back.

"I'm not fighting about this. See you later." I laugh, and walk out the door.

I arrive at Aaron's with a smile on my face, and knock two times.

"Well hello." Alex answers the door.

"Your looking lovely, your man awaits you in the living quarters." He bows formally, making me laugh.

I thank him and walk out to see Aaron look up immediately.

"Woah, you look great." He smiles, standing up and hugging me.

I smile, blushing a little. Lauren walks out just as Alex starts vlogging.

I try not to say much, I am a little embarrassed that everyone thinks we are going on a date.

-Well we are, but not how they think.

"Should we get going?" Lauren smiles.

We all nod and head out the door.

Aaron links arms with me as we walk and I smile.

"You ready for a best friend date?" He asks me, blushing a little.

"Yep. I'm super hungry so ready to eat like a pig." I laugh.

We walk in silence for the rest of the way to the car, Unlinking arms halfway because it is an awkward hand position.

We look over at Alex and Lauren being all sweet and talking nicely like a couple, and we are just sat here waiting for our food.

"So, you hungry?" I try and break the ice.

"Why is this so awkward? Usually we can just talk and talk about random things and not get bored, why is this different?" He asks me, laughing a little.

"I think it's because we think of it as a date because it got pressured by-" I take a glance at Alex, "-No one who will be named."

Aaron laughs and we stat talking about our upcoming merch, and soon after our food arrives.

"Food makes it less awkward I feel." I say with a mouthful of spaghetti.

"Your cute when you eat." He smiles at me.

I blush and finish as quick as I can.

"Sorry bout that. Told you I was hungry." I laugh, and he joins.

"Hey Roni can you come with me?" Lauren asks quietly.

I nod and follow her to the bathroom.

"So what's up with you and Aaron?" She asks me as soon as we walk in.

"Stop!" I whine. "Your just gonna set us up, you and Alex." I moan.

"Promise not." She smiles.

"Okay fine. I like him, and I think he might like me but I don't want to ruin the friendship we have. And on the 'date' you and Alex pressured it to be, we felt it easier when we talk as friends, not a 'couple.' So yeah."

Lauren nods.

"It's obvious that you like him, and he likes you, so just continue and see what happens. Something will, I promise." She smiles sincerely.

"Why?"

"Life just works like that."
