Icefrost led the three cats into the DuskClan camp. Spiderstar welcomed the cats with open paws, and jumped atop the Duskledge. Cats gathered around. "Today, we will welcome three new cats into DuskClan. Apophis, step forward." The golden and tan tom stepped up, "From this day forward, until you have earned your warrior name, you will be known as Furzepaw. I will train you." Furzepaw puffed out his chest with pride. " Cattail, please step forward. " The she cat stepped up, then spoke, "Before you give me a Clan name, I just wanted to say, with all do respect; that I want to keep my name." Spiderstar nodded kindly to Cattail. "Then from now on, you will be known as Cattail. My sister Icefrost will train you." Then he nodded for Myra to step forward, " Myra, since you already know how to hunt and fight, and we have no more warriors to mentor you, I give you your warrior name. From this day forward, you will be known as Goldenrunner. " the Clan cheered the names of the newcomers. "Furzepaw! Cattail! Goldenrunner!"
Icefrost waited at the border for Newtskip several nights later, she had something very important to tell him. Her love padded up to her, and they brushed pelts. "Newtskip." Icefrost began, "I need to tell you something." he eyed her curiously, "For many days now, about a quarter-moon, I've been feeling like my belly's pulling me towards the ground. I visited Sandfall and she told me what was wrong. I was able to get away from suspicion by telling her she was wrong and I was just getting overweight. But the truth is," Newtskip leaned in. " I'm expecting your kits, Newtskip. "
