۵Eudora's POV
I stared at the wall of the room. I'd woken up again in the middle of the night and nobody answered anything. Was it even a hospital if nurses never answered?
I sighed, closing my eyes to try to sleep again, but couldn't. I had no idea what had happened after the wreck and no idea if anybody else was okay.
My mind was a freaking tornado and my body was in pain. It just felt like hell. My eyes opened again, tears in them when another shock of pain went through.
I shook my head, rolling over onto my back, looking up at the ceiling.
I wanted to see Paris, I wanted to know if she was okay.
I pressed the button once more, only for nothing to happen within five minutes.
I wanted to scream and kick, telling them to let me go, but nobody would hear me.
I glanced around, seeing that I didn't even have my phone in here. My mind went blank for ideas. What was there to do?
It's your fault, Eudora.
I shook my head at the voice. It had been forcing it's way through my mind for the past hour.
I heard the door click, letting me know that someone had walked in, but I didn't even want to look. I kept staring at the ceiling, the voice still bugging me.
"Eudora?"
It was Clarissa. I glanced her way before looking back up at the ceiling.
"What happened?" I asked, looking towards her again, ignoring my voice being hoarse and barely audible.
"Well, you were in a-" "I know about the wreck," I cut her off, looking at her. She mumbled something to herself before she walked over to me.
"Well, besides that huge gash in your side, you've got a few broken ribs, and head trauma that had ended up with you in a coma for the last day or two," I raised a brow at her and she shook her head. "I honestly lost track of time while staying in here." She laughed and I smiled at her.
She almost immediately frowned, something flashing through her eyes before she looked around the room. "So, how're you feeling?"
"Like I haven't moved in years," I spoke, laughing as best I could, and trying to eliminate the awkwardness. She smiled at me, a look still in her eyes and I kept getting more and more curious.
"What is it?" She asked as I continued to watch her. I shook my head, smiling at her before rolling back onto my back.
"I could ask you that," I answered, glancing at her before closing my eyes.
"What do you mean?" Her words seemed uneasy as I heard her step forward.
"Something's up, I can tell that much," I answered, confident in my assumption.
"Nothing's up," she spoke, sitting on the bed. "I promise." I smiled a lil, yawning before opening my eyes again.
"You should rest," she spoke, looking at me, only for me to shake my head. She frowned, arching an eyebrow.
"I'm not tired," I spoke, only half-lying. I looked over to the window. "Do you think the hospital would allow you to bring Herb or Kona?" I asked randomly and Clarissa smiled, shaking her head.
"I don't know," she spoke, standing up. "I can check though." I closed my eyes, smiling.
"Good, cause I want to see one of my babies," I spoke, laughing but stopping when Clarissa stayed silent.
