A/N important information about the fanfic at the end.

"Bokuto.. why are you so nervous?" Akaashi whispered as he nudged him softly.

"Oh, I don't know, maybe because I'm being accused of being a fucking murderer" Bokuto said quietly, his tone clearly sarcastic, but full of fear.

"We have plenty of evidence to prove your innocence. I believe you, just don't fuck up when I and the other guy ask you questions. He'll try to make you say you're a murderer, or seem like one, then the jury will decide that you're guilty. " Akaashi explained as he glanced at the victim's lawyer. What an idiot, clearly doesn't know how to do his job.

Bokuto moved his head around to get the better view of the courtroom. It didn't seem that scary, but boy oh boy was he scared. The creaky wooden floor made him shiver every time it made a noise, the stands seemed awfully far and the judge was terrifying. This big old man with fierceful eyes, looking around everywhere. He sighed, he didn't know what to think or do. Bokuto just wanted to sleep and forget all his troubles.

Meanwhile Akaashi couldn't get his eyes off the plaintiff and her lawyer, mister goody-shoes Oikawa Tooru. What a pathetic man, acting as if he's the center of the universe. His hand was placed strangely on the plaintiff's thigh, he had a smirk on his face while talking to her sweetly, as if he wasn't married already. He probably slept with every single of one his clients behind his wife's back. Pathetic.

A loud noise echoed through the room, it caused Akaashi to finally get his attention away from his "fellow colleague". Everybody stood up as the judge said the boring talk Akaashi was tired of hearing. Bokuto, on the other hand, listened attentively, he didn't want to miss anything.

Soon the plaintiff's attorney stood up and started speaking as well, however all that Bokuto heard was "the killer, the killer..", a shiver went down his spine... he felt like he was going to faint.

"I call Yachi Hitoka to the stand" Oikawa said. Bokuto watched as a girl stood up and walked slowly to one of the stands, she seemed frightened.

"Yachi, you were there the night the assault happened, right?" Oikawa asked, his voice as smooth as silk. From the corner of his eye Bokuto saw how Akaashi's face expression changed from unamused to disgusted.

"Y-yes.." the girl said quietly, it made the jury move forward a bit and extend their necks to hear what she had to say.

"So you were there. You have mentioned that you saw a man, around 6' tall, is that right?" Oikawa asked again, his tone getting increasingly annoying.

"Yes, I saw a man. A tall man. Well built as well" Yachi spoke with a bit more confidence.

"I must mention" Oikawa turned to the jury. "That Bokuto Koutarou is 6'1, a well built man. Doesn't he sound like the man Yachi Hitoka described the killer to be?"

"Objection, you honor!" Akaashi suddenly stood up. "Not guilty, until proven so"

"Sustained!" The judge exclaimed. Oikawa, now clearly annoyed, turned to the judge and bowed slightly before returning to his seat.

To Bokuto's surprise, since he had no ideas how all this process goes, Akaashi stood up and went up to the stand, he smiled at Yachi before speaking.

"Yachi Hitoka, I have only a couple questions as well. Is it true that the night the assault happened you were....drunk?" Akaashi smiled again, ah... that smile. Bokuto heard the jury gasp, clearly an unexpected question.

Yachi gulped, her fingers started trembling. "Y-Yes. I had drunk a bottle of wine since I had just been accepted to a new job" Yachi agreed.
