TRIGGER WARNING: SUICIDE She slit her wrists She looked deep inside She carved the shallow scars She noticed that she'd gone far She had flashbacks About the time she wasn't worth She watched the blood drain She felt the heat out She closed her eyes She was enclosed with her thoughts She blamed herself But it was nothing compared to what her mind did

She woke up. Surrounded by trees She felt breeze in her face Scent of flowers she smelled She opened her eyes Surrounded by machines Her loved ones were there She then realised she was saved Time passed She knew she wasn't just saved That a second chance she was given Independent she became Fearless and strong she felt God help who got in her way A lioness.
