ch. 4 - phones

I woke up with a burning sensation on my stomach.

"GET IN THE IMPALA SAMMY." I heard a raspy voice in my ear. I put my hand to my ear. Headphones. I open my eyes, Supernatural was playing on my laptop.

I chuckled and got off my bed. I threw on a floral dress and some sandals and teleported to math.

Rose stood waiting at the door, waiting patiently.

"Good of you to finally make it!" She said chirpily.

"Oh uh yeah. Sorry."

"Oh it's okay." She said as she walked into the crowded math classroom.

"DAMMIT GUS STOP SHAPESHIFTING!" I voice yelled from my left.

"NEVER!" A short Mexican looking boy said to my right. All of a sudden he morphed into a huge snapping turtle.

The boy who yelled at this "Gus" raised his hands and transformed into a lion and roared. Gus changed back.

"Aiden come on you know I can't beat a lion!"

Aiden laughed. "Yes I do know that."

A tall boy with black hair stood in a corner. Three boys stood around him.

"Why are you even here?" One boy said.

"You don't even have any powers!" Another pushed him against the wall. The boy's face scowled at the others.

"Get off me you assholes." He pushed them off of him and walked off. Poor guy. I decided to talk to him.

"Hello." I looked up into his brown eyes. They looked really sad. "I'm Elle."

"Hi, the name's Harry." He smiled. He had a really good smile. "My codename's Hectic though."

"Cool! So what are your powers?" I asked him.

"I-uh-I haven't got any." He looked down shamefully. Just to make sure it was true, I checked his mind.

"God I'm so stupid."

"How can't I have any powers?"

"Professer X made a mistake."

I shook my head.

"You're not stupid just so you know." I whispered in his ear. After that I walked over to Rose, where she showed me where I would sit.

"Wait were you talking to Harry?" She raised an eyebrow.

"Yeah why?"

"He's like super weird. He doesn't have any powers yet he's here? That doesn't make sense." Rose scoffed.

"He's actually really sweet." I looked over at him and caught him staring at us. I waved. "I feel really bad for him to be totally honest."

"Why?"

"Because he gets bullied." I frown. "Obviously. Can't you see it?"

"No I guess not." Rose shrugged and sat down.

Math went on for another hour until we had to go back to our dorms. Rose needed to be tutored by Aiden so she stayed. I snapped myself back to the room to find a silver headed boy waiting there.

"Um, Peter?" I raised my eyebrow from next to him. He jumped five feet in the air.

"ELLE GOODNESS." He facepalmed. "You scared the shit out of me!"

"Why were you waiting at my door?" I say as I laugh.

"Oh yeah I wanted to tell you that you left your phone by the ring earlier." He handed my phone to me.

"Alright well thanks." I smiled.

"I'm going to go now." He nodded and walked off.

"Why you walkin Speedy?" I called after him.

"I'M TIRED OKAY." He yelled back.
