Life's a bit of comedy, a bit of romance, and a bit of tragedy all rolled into one hellish existence. And that's where Shakespeare got it right. Except he forgot one thing; mutants.
Mutants have been around since the dawn of time. A battle between humans and mutants, and it'll end in chaos and bloodshed from both sides of the war.
Eloise Mercury was not alone. Not because she was a mutant, because there were others just like her, but because the mutant race is alone. The mutants only have each other. Eloise had never been more alone than when she discovered that she could go to any place in or out of our world at the snap of a finger. Or when she realized she could convince anyone to do anything without even trying. She had always been alone.
But there is a man who invaded--every night--her dreams and called her name until the dream ended and she opened her eyes. His names is Charles Xavier.
He told her to find him. And, in the dream, when she told him she didn't know where he is, he told her that she had always known. And then the dream ended.
Last night he came again, but this time she saw where he was. Eloise knew where to go; Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters.
At the end of the dream, he smiled and said, "Eloise Mercury, your journey has been troubled, I know. But when you arrive here, things will change. Your journey has not come to an end. Be prepared. You will find peace with your gifts of which you find flaws. And you will find peace with the world."
Her eyes flew open as he finished those words, ready to travel to him. Elouise frantically raced around her small apartment to find everything she would need.
The time was 3:32am when she left.
And it had not even turned 3:33am, when she arrived.
