Alexia's POV

"I'm sorry" I hear someone say I look up and see Devin. I really needed him right now, but I just gave him a weak smile being careful, so it doesn't seem like I'm desperate.

"I won't leave you again" He says hugging me. By the sound of his voice he was serious.

"Please don't" I say sniffling.

"I promise you, I won't." He says to me.
I smile to myself.

"You know, it's crazy how I've only been away from you for a day, and I've gone crazy" I said looking at Devin "I literally almost had a panic attack thinking about what would've happened if he had hit me." I say to Devin with sad eyes.

"If he had of laid one hand on you, he would be dead. And I'm serious." Devin says to me.
Even though I hate the sound of someone killing my best friend. I'm happy that he loves me that much.
"Thank you" I say to him

"For what?" He asks me.

"For caring enough that you would kill my bestfriend" I say laughing but serious at the same time.

"Anything For you" He says to me
I smile and mess with his hair.

"Stop it took me too long to do this" he said

"Yeah right. You just put some gel on it" I say wiping my hands off on my pants.

"Whatever" He says

"Who's the kid?" He asks me. I already know who he's talking about.

"His name is Aiden, and he is my brother." I say

"But you don't have a brother." Dev says

"Here's the story" I say, then I explain to him everything.

"Well that's one heck of  a story" Dev says chuckling

"I know, and I only believe him because he looks just like me" I say

"Now that I think about it, he does actually" Devin says
I just smile and lay my head on his shoulder waiting for my mom.

"Are you just gonna wait here until my mom comes?" I ask him.

"Yep" He says calmly.

"Ok" I say laughing. 
I take out my phone and I see messages from Daniel.

Daniel: I'm sorry.
Daniel: please talk to me
Daniel: come on I've looked everywhere
Daniel: I'm worried.
Me: I'm fine.
Daniel: where are you?
Me: Doesn't matter. I'm leaving.
Daniel: where r u going?
Me: home.
Daniel: who's taking you?
Me: what's with all the questions?
Daniel: because I care about you.
Me: I find that hard to believe.
Daniel: Come on, you know I do.
Me: I don't know what I believe anymore.
Daniel: I'm sorry.
Me: I heard/read you the first time. Please leave me alone.

I muted the conversation so I didn't have to hear the constant buzzing.
I sigh and put my phone away.
Then the bell rings, causing me to jump slightly.

"You ok?" Dev asks me
I look at him and laugh.

"What's so funny?" He asks me chuckling.

"You look like somebody uncle" I say noticing he hasn't took off those sunglasses. He rolled his eyes and took off the sunglasses. After Devin took off the glasses he just stared at me.

"What?" I ask him

"Nothing, your just beautiful" He says smiling like an idiot. I just shake me head and cover my face, trying to hide my blushing.

"Stop, your cute when your blushing" Devin says trying to move my hands.

"Stop!" I say laughing pushing him away. I don't hear him for a few seconds so I move my hands slowly.
I see Devin pouting with his arms crossed like a five year old.

"Really?" I say to him giggling at his childish actions.
He simply turns away from me.

"Did I hurt the baby's feelings?" I ask teasing him, also pinching his cheeks.
He smiles slightly then then quickly turning it back into a frown.

"I saw that!" I tell him.
He uncrosses his arms and turns towards me.

"I like you a lot" Devin says grabbing my hands and intertwining our fingers.
"Do you know something that would make me very happy?" Devin asks me.
I shake my head no.
"You telling me that you like me too" He says looking me in the eyes.

My stomach was doing all kinds of twists and turns.
What should I do? Do I like him?
I could have sworn he was like a brother to me. Did I just say "was"? Is that my answer? Is he something more?
As I look into Devins eyes, searching for a answer. All i found was love. I guess that's my answer.

"I like you too Devin" I say smiling ode hard. His face lights up, which makes me smile more. He then hugs the life out of me, which makes me laugh.

I then get a text.
Mom: I'm outside.
Me: ok.

"My moms here" I say getting up.
"Ok, I'll see you tomorrow." Devin says. I start walking away but then I hear Devin.
"Wait! You forgot something!" He says standing up.

"What did I for-" I say But was cut off by Devin smashing his lips into mine, causing me to stumble back a little. He had one hand around my waist, and the other cupping my cheek. I wrapped my arms around his neck. After like 5 seconds we pulled apart.

"Woah" we say at the same time, causing us both to laugh.
I look into Devins eyes,
"Your something else, Gordon" I say to Devin. He smiles and hugs me.

"Ok I have to go now." I tell Devin.

"Okay" Devin says slowly letting me go.
I hug him once more.
"Don't forget me" Devin says as I walk away.
"I can't forget you" I say to him. I then walk down the long hallway, out of the school.

Devins POV

"I can't forget you" Alexia tells me with that beautiful smile of hers.

This girl is gonna be the death of me! 😩😍

Soooooo how about Alevin huh?
