I wake up to the sound of my alarm, telling me it's 7:00. I reach out my arm and turn it off, but when I try to get out of bed I can't. I look down and see arms wrapped around my waist. I shake my head and laugh. "Jonah" I whisper. Nothing "Jonah" he moves slightly "Jonah" he opens one eyes
"I have to get ready" I tell him trying to move his arms.
"Me too, but I don't want to get up" Jonah says
"Are you going to my school?" I ask him
"Yes. Just like old times." He says smiling, causing me to smile too.
"Come on, we can't be late!" I say finally breaking free and getting up.
"But Muffin!" Jonah says in a sad wining voice. Also looking at me with puppy eyes.
"What?" I ask
"I'm hungry" He says sitting up.
"Then go eat something. I'm going to take a shower." I say. He gets out of the bed and walks over to me. "But I want to eat with you" Jonah says sitting at my mirror. "Then wait for me." I say messing with his hair laughing. "K" He says. I then go to my bathroom and do what I gotta do. I'm in the shower and the water turns cold for a second, which makes me scream, them it goes to look-warm. Which means that Jonah is taking a shower at the same time as me. I groan and finish up.
I go to my room and pick out my outfit for today.

"You look pretty" Jonah says sitting on the side of my chair.
"Thank you. Why couldn't you wait till I got out of the shower?" I ask him
"Because, you take forever. We don't want to be late remember. Now come on I'm hungry" Jonah says walking out of my room. I just shake my head and laugh at him.
Once we got downstairs I kiss momma and Diana like always and sit down.
"I like your outfit Jonah" my mom tells Jonah.
"Thanks mom" He says smiling like a idiot. I must admit, he is pretty swaggy today. Even if it is casual.

"You ready?" Jonah asks me. "Yep" I say getting up and gathering my things. I hug my mom and Diana and leave for school. I open the door to see a smiling Aiden. "Hey lil bro" his face immediately drops. "Turn that frown, upside down" I sing and do a silly dance. He smiles and we head to Devins car.
"Do you mind if Jonah comes with us?" I ask Devin
"Uh sure" He says hesitantly.
"K thanks" I say getting in the front. Leaving Aiden and Jonah in the back. Devin reached over and grabs my hand. I look at our hands and smile.
Once we arrived at school all eyes were on Jonah.
"I feel like I'm walking with the cool kids." I say to Jonah
"You are" He said then winks at me. I roll my eyes. I look ahead and see Daniel. Dang it! I forgot to tell Jonah about Daniel.
"Aye! Daniel!" Jonah yells across the hall. He turns towards us and looks confused at Jonah for a second, then it turns into excitement. Jonah goes over to him and gives him a bro hug. I look at Devin confused.
"Maybe he's one of the people he remembers like Kevin." Devin says
"Yeah, maybe" I say walking to my locker.
I put my things in and we head to gym, since it's all our 1st period. Gym went by fast and now we go to math. But it's only me, Jonah, and Daniel.
We walk in and almost every set us taken. Only one table with timeout seats and a seat by a girl.
"Hottie Alert!" Jonah says at he sits by the girl, leaving me and Daniel to sit together. I let out a frustrated sigh and sit down. Daniel sits next to me. We have a substitute so no one is doing anything. I pull out my phone and put in my headphones. Just as in about to put my headphones in Daniel taps me. Just kill me NOW!
"Yes?" I turn to Daniel honestly annoyed.
"Um can we talk?" He asks
"I'm busy." I say putting my headphones in and blocking him out. I'm on my monthly thing. So sorry if I'm being mean.
Daniels POV
I don't know why she's so mad at me. Didn't she like just hug me? It's probably nothing. I get in my phone and check insta. The bell rings and we go to our next class. I'm walking down the hallway and I see Devin and Alexia holding hands.
That could have been us. But I had to blow it. I always do. I'm no good to her. I never was. I broke her heart even when I knew her. Now I hurt her. What more can she handle? I should just do her a favor and disappear. I'm sure she'd love that. She's better off without me. And I'm better off not here. At all.
I don't even feel like going to class. I'm just going home. I don't want to be here right now.
Alexia's POV
I'm walking in the hall way with Devin until I see Daniel looking at us. He looks so sad. I study him. His mind drifts somewhere else and his sad expression turns into a discouraged look and he walks out of the school. I follow him. He walks to his car and I follow.
"Where are you going?" I ask him
"Home" He says getting in the car. I get in the other side wanting him to explain.
"Why?" I ask him
"Because I feel like it." He snaps
"You can't just choose when you want to go home." I tell him.
"I can and I will, you don't want me here anyway." He says looking down.
"Who told you that? Because I never said it?" I ask him
"It's obvious! It's hard enough to live with the fact that I hurt you. I can't live with the fact that you hate me." Daniel said his voice cracking mid sentence. I tear escaped his eyes but he wiped it away.
I look at him and I start tearing up. "Daniel I don't hate you. I could never. I love you. That's why it hurt me so much that you did what to did. I will never in my life hate you. And I never want you to feel that way." I tell him looking into his dark brown eyes. He looks up at me but he isn't convinced. He looks back down at his hands. "Daniel look at me." I say but he doesn't "Look at me!" I say louder. He looks at me. "I love you ok." I tell him. He slowly nods, but he doesn't seem convinced. "No I need to know you understand, please say something." I beg him "Ok" He says. I smile at him but he doesn't smile back, he just looks at me. "What's wrong?" I ask "Nothing." He says "Daniel." I say "Fine. Why didn't you tell me that you and Devin are together?" He asked. "I don't know, maybe because I wasn't talking to you at the moment, and I didn't think you would care." I say. He just looks at me. "Get out." He says "What?" I ask "Get out." He says again. "You can't be serious." I say "Get out!" He says raising his voice. "Fine I'm going." I say getting out. As soon as I close the door he starts the engine and zooms off. I roll my eyes and head back into the school. I'm probably so late to my last class. Ugh!!
