Daniels POV

I really can't pay attention in class. I keep looking at Alexia and that boy she's with.
Yo snap out of it. She's not yours. At least not yet. She doesn't like jealousy.
I mean she's too beautiful, and everybody wants her. That's why. I mean, it's ok that I'm jealous. It shows that I care. But I need to cool it.

"Mr Veda" The teacher says to me.

"Yes" I say.

"What's the answer?" She asks.
I didn't even bother to look at the board to see what she was talking about.

"I don't know" I say looking at her.

"Pay attention, or I'll move you to the front." She threatens. I sit back in my chair and let out a small sigh.
I then get a text from Alexia.

Alexia: what's wrong with you?
Me: I don't know what your talking about.
Alexia: stop lying.
Me: I'm not.
Alexia: You seem mad.
Me: I'm not.
Alexia: I know you like the back of my hand, I know when your lying.
Me: I'm not.
Alexia: Daniel!
Me: Can we not! I don't feel like arguing,
Alexia: Tell me what's wrong!
Me: NOTHING is wrong! Leave me alone.
Alexia: Fine.
Alexia: Whatever you want.
Me: Thx

The bell then rings and Alexia shoots up out of her seat and walks out of the classroom. I get up and gather my books.

"Why?" I hear someone ask.
I look up to see that Boy Alexia was sitting by.

"Why what?" I ask him

"Why are you being an *ss?" He said.
Something inside me clicked, but my mood changed all the way, to a point where if this kid says something out of line he is gonna get beat.

"Who are you to her?" I ask him

"Why does it matter?" He asked calmly.

"Because all of a sudden, you show up and she ditches me for you." I said mad

"She tried to apologize, but you cut her off, and said rude mess to her." He shot back

"I don't need this" I say walking away.

"I think you do." He says which causes me to turn around. "Obviously she cares about you. Why would you want to mess that up. I'm not in your way, so you can't blame me. Don't be jealous until you know what's up." He said

"That's what I said" I look behind me and see Kevin and Devin.

"You didn't answer my question" I told him.

"What question?" He asks

"Who are you to Alexia?"

"I'm her brother." He says walking out.

"What?" I ask myself

"She doesn't have a brother" Kevin says

"Exactly" I say.

"I gotta fix this" I say running out heading to the lunchroom. Since it's lunchtime.

Alexia's POV

What's wrong with him? He's acting like a jerk today. I don't like new Daniel. I want old Daniel back.

"Hey" I hear someone say.
I look up to see Aiden.

"Hey" I say. He sits down beside me.

"Are you ok?" He asks me.

"Yeah just confused on why Daniels acting like this." I say, he nods.

"I think he's gonna apologize" Aiden says hugging me.

"I hope he does" I say laying my head on his shoulder, not really wanting to eat.
