I laid in the comfort of my blankets and darkness as the T.V screen lit up the room, making it dance with different colors when the scenes would change. Trembling under my blanket, I took another handful of popcorn and threw it into my mouth before hiding my face in my pillow.

Yep, you guessed it, I'm stupidly watching a horror movie even though I knew I'd get scared easily. But I was in the mood to watch a movie, more specifically, a scary one.

As the girl on the screen tripped in the forest and it became dead silent, my phone dinged loudly as the killer jumped out from behind a tree. I let out a loud scream and fell of my bed in the process of literally jumping out of my own skin.

Glaring at my phone that sat on my floor after falling of the bed with me, I picked it up. A smile came onto my face seeing that it was from Jay, but it quickly vanished as I realized he was why I got so scared.

Right, like it wasn't the fact that you're watching a horror movie in the dark, at one in the morning, I thought to myself.

Shrugging, I never did take blame well. I climbed back into the bed and snuggled into my warm fuzzy blanket.

Reading the text, a little smile grew on my face again.

So I should be sleeping rn but ik youre awake and I don't feel like sleeping so whats up?

Rolling my eyes, I quickly replied, whats up is that you just scared the shit out of me.

Oh, how so?

Well I may or may not be watching a horror movie rn and right as the scary part came you texted me and it scared m, you made me fall off my bed :(

I cant believe it, I, Jay wont tell you my actual last name, scared the living daylights out of Mia Loker.
