After 16 years together, my stepmom and dad separated even though I took her through so much she still helped even after she left my dad that's how I knew her love was genuine she even got custody of my daughter until I got on my feet to raise her. After entering a program with dss I was given my daughter back and we were sent to a group home in Petersburg VA where I had a chance to sit down go to school and learn how to raise my child I got my first job and when I tell you my best days was pay days when I cashed my first check I knew I was in love with money it gave me a rush from there on I took off. I completed the program in Petersburg received my GED and went back to Portsmouth VA to stay with my step mom my dad was still battling his drinking problem, but I can honestly say he was still a dad he still made sure his daughter and first grandchild was straight. My daughter was growing up so fast I knew I had to get right for her I didn't want her to experience anything in life that I did. See the thing about me that I can admit is I wear my heart on my shoulder I was raped abused disrespected and embarrassed, but I still wanted love. The first guy that showed me just a little bit of interest I dived in head first giving him my all even though they didn't deserve none of me. They tell me what I want to hear just to keep me around and I stayed every time yea I was a real fool for love but was it really the fact that I wanted love or was it the fact that I was just scared to be alone? After staying with my stepmom for a few I signed up for housing after being on the waiting list for a couple months I moved out dales home my first apartment. By then I had 2 kids and one on the way after giving birth to my third the next couple months I was pregnant again oh and with a new man this time he was different, or was he?!?
